"I wish y'all would stop with all this damn crying." Key said as he looked at Ashley and Trina who were  wiping the tears that fell from their eyes. Chris laughed nervously and looked at the rings in front of him. It had been a year since the Cape Verde trip where him and Karina had their conversation on marriage. They haven't talked about it anymore but Chris had it on his mind a lot after that. He thought about all they've been through, the love they had for each other, but most importantly their friendship. He wouldn't want to spend forever with no one else.

"Let's take a look at these." The jeweler said. Chris got in contact with a famous jeweler who was known for beautiful engagement rings so he had her come to the house while Karina was in Houston for a couple of days checking on the salon. Chris planned this two weeks ago and needed his family and her family for emotional support, and to help him choose a ring.

"That is beautiful, Chris." Joyce said pointing to a ring that he knew Karina wouldn't like. Karina was simple not flashy at all.

"It is but it's too much. Karina is simple but she still likes and values nice shit. You know what I mean?" He said to the jeweler and she nodded with a smile. "You got anything classy but simple?" She nodded her head again and opened another briefcase of rings. This was the 7th briefcase they were about to look at and Chris prayed to God that what he was looking for was in there.

Once she opened it, his eyes immediately landed on the perfect ring for Karina that was in the far corner. A smile slowly started to form as he stared at the ring. He looked at the others to make sure but none of them said 'My baby gon love this' like the one that stood out to him the most. He picked up the ring and stared at it some more.

"This is it." He said looking at his support system. Joyce began to cry as well as Ashley and Trina. D and Key looked at the ring and nodded in agreement.

"Proud of you son." Clinton said tearing up as well, hugging Chris. All these emotions had Chris emotional as well but he refused to cry.
