"Can't believe our lil munchkin is going to be here next month." Karina said as she rubbed her large, round belly. The baby was due the first week of May and Chris was ready for the best birthday gift ever.
"My lil man wanna be like his dad already. Trynna be born on my birthday and shit." He smiled while he rubbed her belly as well. Karina laughed and shook her head. The two of them were outside sitting on the deck that was connected to their cottage. Chris took Karina on a baby moon since this would be the last month of it just being them two. Chris wanted to get them a Villa but Karina didn't see the need for that. She wanted to be in something small, intimate and close to the residents of Cape Town.
"Can you rub my feet?" Karina asked as she lifted her leg and sat in on Chris's lap. Without answering, he began to rub her feet and she laid her head back with her eyes closed. "You got any baby names in mind?"
"I'm glad you asked." He smirked and Karina braced herself. "I got Runako Brown." He smiled nodding his head. Karina looked at him and then looked away.
"Ru-run- what Chris?" Karina said as she tried to pronounce it. Chris smacked his lips and laughed.
"R uh n- uh - k oh. Runako Brown." He smiled proudly at the name suggestion. Karina liked it but not enough to name her baby that.
"I'll keep that in mind. Anything else?" Chris smacked his lips cause he knew she wasn't going to keep it in mind.
"What you got?" Karina smiled and pulled out her phone.
"I'm glad you asked." She went to her notes app and clicked on the note at the top. "Okay okay sooooo I was thinkin maybe Izaak Dominic Brown or Ever Orion Brown."
"Hmm." He stroked his chin hairs and looked towards the water. "I don't like Izaak...Ever is cool but it's not clicking." Karina sighed and put her phone down.
"We'll figure it out eventually. What we doing today?"
"Cape Town Tour." He looked at the time. "And not gon lie if we don't get dressed we gon miss it." Karina moved her leg and slowly got out of her seat. Chris walked behind her and closed the door to the deck. They got dressed and headed out for their tour of Cape Town.

"Let's move here." Karina said with a smile as they walked back into their cottage.
"Move to Cape Town?" Karina nodded her head and he smiled. "Let's do it after I retire." Karina rolled her eyes.
"So never." She chuckled softly and walked to their room.
"Youn think Imma retire?"
"I know you're not gonna retire. You love what you do too much to retire." Karina looked in her suitcase and grabbed her bathing suit. "I'm getting in the pool." She stripped from her clothes and put on her bathing suit but struggled to tie the top.
"Come here." Chris laughed because he found it hilarious that the regular stuff she could do, she couldn't do at the moment cause of the baby. Once he tied the back of her bathing suit top, she put on her slides and walked to the pool that was on the side of the cottage.
As Karina floated in the pool, she saw Chris taking pictures of her which is something he did a lot.
"What a creep." She said and he laughed. "Get in." Chris went back inside for a moment and then came back out with her shirt off and shorts on. He got into the pool and put his hands under Karina as she floated. "You teaching me how to float?" She asked with a smile and he nodded his head.
"This shit is crazy." Chris said above a whisper but Karina heard him.
"What?" Her eyes were still closed as he moved her around the pool.
"We in a pool in Cape Town, South Africa...you pregnant with our son...and we engaged. That shit is crazy." They both laughed. Chris leaned down to kiss her belly a few times and Karina smiled.
"Yea it is...but I'm loving it." Karina said and Chris leaned down to kiss her lips.
"Me too."

The next day, Chris had planned for a picnic at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Diamond Museum tour, and an Ariel Cableway ride. Karina bought a disposable camera and an Instant Fim Camera for the trip to put into their photo book she's been creating since she found out she was pregnant. She gathered photos from when they first started dating all the way up til now. She wanted not only their son to look back on the photos but for her and Chris to look back on them as well.
After their full day of activities, they went to their cottage and waited for the private chef to get there to cook dinner. As they sat outside and talked, Chris started to think about the wedding and then life after marriage. The wedding was in September but he was having cold feet right now.
"Chris?" Karina said. He snapped out of his thoughts and looked her way. "Are you good?"
"Yea I'm straight. Just tired from today." Karina looked at him for a while and then nodded her head. Dinner was ready two hours later and they sat inside to eat. As Karina danced after every bite of food, Chris smiled and shook his head. "Maybe we should hold off on this shit for a while."
"Chrissss? What's wrong?" Karina said with her face furrowed. She knew something was wrong by his silence and the look on his face.
"Nothing." Karina squinted her eyes and looked down at her belly cause the baby started kicking.
"Oh you can tell he's lying too huh?" Chris laughed and she smiled. "Seriously though Chris, what's the matter?"
"Just nervous about the baby, that's all." He lied.
"Nervous?! Chris, you are daddy pro! If anybody should be nervous it's me." They both laughed. "But there's nothing to be nervous about baby. He's going to be in great hands with the both of us." She grabbed his hand and he smiled and nodded. He decided to push the thoughts of backing out of the wedding to the back of his mind and enjoy his night with Karina.
