The venue for the mehendi was a vibrant celebration of colors, adorned in rich hues of orange, yellow, red, and green. The space was beautifully decorated with a cascade of flowers, sheer curtains that fluttered gently in the breeze, and twinkling fairy lights that added a magical glow.
Naina wore a stunning lilac pink lehenga with a contrasting lime green top and matching dupatta. Her hair was styled in an intricate braid, adorned with delicate flowers that added a touch of elegance to her look. She completed her outfit with a matching lilac ethnic Kundan set, and her makeup was flawless, featuring soft pink tones that complemented her overall appearance. Light pink lipstick highlighted her radiant smile.

Upon arrival, Naina and her family were the first to reach the venue. As the mehndi function began, Mrs. Ahluwalia guided Naina to the stage, which had been specially prepared for her. With a warm smile, she instructed the mehndi artist to start applying the intricate designs as it would take lots of time to complete Naina's bridal henna. Naina settled onto the stage, her excitement palpable as she watched the henna artist work their magic.
An hour later, the female guests from Rajveer's side began to arrive, adding to the lively atmosphere. The function turned into a lively celebration, with some guests dancing to upbeat music, while others engaged in spirited games of antakshari, their laughter and joy filling the air. The room was abuzz with the collective energy of everyone participating in the celebration by applying henna on their palms and backhands.
By the time the mehndi function wrapped up well after 8 pm, the sky had turned a deep shade of twilight. Thankfully, Naina's henna had dried sufficiently. To ensure the intricate designs stayed intact throughout the night, the henna artist covered her arms and feet with a special kind of tape. This allowed Naina to move freely without disturbing the henna, which would continue to set and darken overnight.
