"Oscar..."
The morning sun was blazing through a small gap in between the blackout curtains, right on top of our blankets. That was the only part of the room that had much light. The hotel's blackout curtains worked like magic.
"Mhm..." Oscar mumbled into the back of my shoulder. He had his arms wrapped around my waist comfortably, his face pressed into the back of my shoulder. I sighed into the pillow, and tried to pry his body off. "Stop it."
"We need to get out of bed," I tried to pull his hands off.
"Princess, I've done more hours of gym than you have," He sighed, freeing his arms from my waist. "Besides, when have you ever touched a single piece of gym equipment? While shopping?"
"When on earth have you become to sassy?" I sighed, turning to face him.
"I don't know," Oscar said, placing a kiss on my forehead.
"Do you ever put a shirt on?" I frowned as I stared down at his naked torso. He smirked, taking the chance to pull me in closer. "Oscar. Honestly."
"Do you not like me like this?" He teased.
"I hate you," I muttered under my breath, pushing him away gently.
"I love you too," Oscar laughed.
"Just because I freaked out from you saying it right in my face doesn't mean you can use it to make fun of me," I crossed my arms across my chest, struggling to since we were laying down on our sides. "Besides. I didn't freak out when you said it in the car."
"You pretended you didn't know, princess," He rolled his eyes.
"Because I didn't want to make you freak out." I muttered, as he pulled me closer so I was pressed tightly against his body. I ran my fingers through his hair. Silky. "Have you not used a comb before?"
"No, never," Oscar whispered, going red. "Only time I ever have is when I go to the barber's. Well they do it for me. I don't."
"I could brush your hair for you," I suggested.
"Nah, I don't want it getting even messier," He joked, laughing afterwards as I kicked him in the shin. "I was joking! Calm down. I have a race later, don't injure me."
I froze. "What time is it?"
"Shit." He mumbled, turning to his bedside table and reached for his phone. "Okay. Don't freak out. We have two hours."
"I need a shower! How on earth am I supposed to do skincare and dry my hair in two hours?" I quickly pushed him away, getting out of bed. He yawned and struggled to get out.
"Work it out, princess, I only need moisturiser and sun lotion," Oscar called out, placing a hand behind his head.
I went straight to the toilet, jumping in the shower quickly and running the water through my hair, wetting it in the fastest time possible. I could also very clearly hear Oscar coming in and getting his toothbrush from the cup.
"Can I join you?" He yelled over the loud noise of the running water. I rolled my eyes, even if he couldn't see.
"No! I don't want you to see me naked, Oscar. I thought we were taking it slow!" I shouted, running my hands through my hair with shampoo, rinsing it off.
"I'll keep my eyes closed," Oscar said, his fingers visible on my side of the shower curtain. I used the shampoo and squirted it all over his hand, making him shriek and pull it away. "I'm so getting back at you for this."
