*Nishtha’s POV*:-

Dabbing the blush well, I painted my lips a nude brown shade that went well with my dusky skin. Since the look was a sunny one I applied a softer eye liner and wore some casual shoes.

Some chunky golden jewellery on my neck and on my wrist, it went well with the sun dress I was wearing.

Combing my hair I twisted it into two braids from the front, giving myself a sweet tiara kind of look.

I gave myself a last look in the mirror and went to the decided restaurant. The day was luckily sunny and warm, not the usual gloomy one.

I smiled picking up a bouquet fresh roses for my date of the day, my husband- Ranvijay Rajput.

Yes, I had finally managed to ask him out for a date, precisely a lunch date that I had planned in a nearby restaurant that overlooked the hills.

Reaching the restaurant I was warmly greeted by the manager who took me to the area I had booked for Ranvijay and me.

The manager then gave me a quick brief about the decorations, the music and everything. We discussed about the sequence accordingly and then I took my time to look at the decorations myself.

The staff must have went an extra length to make this decoration so perfect, I will surely pay them a healthy tip.

Blue and white balloons with white roses were used to make a decirative wall with our names etched on it. The white roses were also kept for show on our table too.

Once I had confirmed that everything was perfectly organised, I decided to click some random pictures as memories of the day. I had planned to click more with Ranvijay later on.

"Ma'am shall we keep the starters ready ?," the manager asked glancing at the clock that showed 12:55 on it.

I nodded and waited patiently. The time went by slower than usual, every second making me anxious and nervous as I waited for Ranvijay.

"Ma'am would you like to eat something while you wait for sir to arrive ?," the manager asked politely as the clock struck 2.

"No, I would wait for a few more minutes.," I said, my heart feeling heavy as the time clocked and there was no sign of Ranvijay’s arrival.

The whispers had started, I could see two waitresses peeking at me from the curtain and whispering, perhaps pitying me.

I fished my phone wanting to call Ranvijay and ask him about his safety but the realisation of him blocking my number hit me like a truck.

Negative thoughts had started clouding my mind making me worry about Ranvijay's safety.

Was he okay ?
