*Third Person's POV*:-
Nishtha had just got done with her 3rd session for the day, cracking her knuckles she leaned back on her chair to take a two minute break. Once she was done she rang the bell allowing her 4th patient to enter insisde.
While the 4th patient entered, Nishtha decided to look past the notes she had written in her last session.
"Good Afternoon,"
"Good Aftern...Maa ?," Nishtha's words stopped abruptly seeing Naina Viraj Rajput sitting in front of her.
Nishtha rang the bell twice instantly, causing Martha to rush inside. "Who's our 4th patient Martha ?," Nishtha decided to recheck. "Mrs. Naina Rajput.," Martha replied.
Nishtha gestured Martha to leave and then turned towards Naina, who had this conscious smile playing on her lips.
"So Mrs. Rajput, how can I help you ?," Nishtha asked turning all professional.
"Help me get over my past Nishtha.," Naina stated with a blank look on the outside while fighting an inner turmoil on the inside.
Telling your past that too to your daughter-in-law can make you uncomfortable. It requires courage to talk about your mistakes of the past and acceot them in front of someone, Naina was about to do it.
"I was 18 when I was married to Viraj ji. I was a village girl and he a city man, born and brought up in the city.," Naina started. Her mind going past the flashbacks of her life.
Nishtha listened with her a camera and vocue recorder recording at the session.
"He used to come to our village once every year, it was kind of a ritual, to stay to their roots. The girls in the village would hide to watch him and Vijay, they were handsome and charismatic since their youth. On the day I turned 18 my grand parents threw a bomb on me, they had fixed my marriage with Viraj and he too had agreed. I was ecstatic, how could I be not ? I was marrying my dream man but a part of me wanted to know him before we got married.," Naina's eyes sparkled at the rememberance of the moment.
Nishtha too smiled. The admiration her mother-in-law had for her father-in-law was praise worthy.
"The functions began with a pomp and we got married. But since the times were a lot different we weren't even allowed to see each other's faces before the actual marriage. He was 25 and I was 18, 7 years apart each other. The same age gap you and Ranvijay hold.
On the wedding night, we...," Naina's words faltered, a layer of embarassment spreading on her face.
Nishtha understood the reason behind it and offered a glass of water to Naina. "If you are uncomfortable you can change your psychologist Maa, I will recommend you a better one.," Nishtha suggested, she herself felt weird listening to her mother-in-law's private life.
Naina shook her head aggressively after she gulped down the water.
"I want to talk it out Nishtha, please. Please. It has to be you.," Naina stated wiping away the sweat beads on her forehead.
