Minghao stirred, his eyelids fluttering open slowly. The soft morning light filtering through the blinds cast a warm glow on the room.
A comfortable weight pressed against his back, and the steady rhythm of someone's heartbeat filled his ears. It took a moment for his mind to fully wake up.
As his consciousness returned, he realized he was curled up in someone’s arms. His heart skipped a beat as he slowly turned his head to see Jun sleeping peacefully beside him.
A wave of warmth washed over him as he took in the sight of his boyfriend.
Jun looked so serene; his face relaxed in sleep. An involuntary smile crept onto Minghao's lips. He carefully lifted his arm and reached out to trace Jun's jawline.
The older boy stirred slightly but didn't wake up. Minghao leaned down and kissed Jun's cheek, his heart pounding in his chest.
A few moments later, Jun opened his eyes, his gaze meeting Minghao's. A soft smile spread across his face.
"Morning, love," he murmured, his voice husky with sleep. Minghao smiled back, feeling a surge of happiness. "Morning," he replied.
They lay in silence for a few moments, simply enjoying each other's company. The morning sunlight seemed to create a perfect atmosphere of peace and contentment.
Minghao snuggled closer to Jun, feeling safe and protected. Jun bent down and kissed Minghao's forehead, making the younger's heartbeat increase.
He reached out and stroked Minghao's hair, his touch gentle and reassuring. Minghao closed his eyes, savoring the moment. For the first time in a long time, he felt truly happy and at peace.
"Love, we should get ready for class." Minghao sighed as he remembered that they had class today. "But I don't want to go, Junnie."
Minghao pouted his lips, an attempt to make Jun not go to class. However, the older male wouldn't budge and sat up.
"We have to, babe." Minghao pulled Jun back, snuggling close to him again.
"Baby, just today." Minghao looked at Jun, trying to look as cute as possible, but Jun still refused not to go to class.
That was until both of their phones buzzed. "Hm? Why would Seungcheol text something in the group chat?" Jun questioned, to which Minghao shrugged his shoulders.
