Today was the day—the day everyone was scared about. The students were getting decorations, pastries, candy, and much more.

The principal was strictly watching everything happen, a smile of satisfaction on his face.

He had been planning for this day for months, maybe even years.

He remembered the time all the parents went to this school, how he had so much power, but of course that changed now. Even if he still does have a lot of power, it isn't like it was before, and he needed it back.

Seokmin sat in his room nervously. His heart was beating in his chest; it almost felt like it would explode any moment.

He took a deep breath as an attempt to calm himself down; however, it didn't work.

But Seokmin knew himself; he knew that there was someone or something to calm him down. He stood up with a heavy heart and made his way to Joshua's dorm.

It was Joshua, of course it was. He was the only person that could make him feel at peace, like he felt loved, and like he was home.

He didn't know how, but Joshua always made him feel safe, like that no one's ever going to hurt him.

Every time he looked at Joshua, his heart would beat fast, yet there was a sadness that he didn't want to talk about.

While he was always excited and happy to see Joshua, it actually hurt.

He knew that he and Joshua would never be together, and it hurt him.

The walk to Joshua's dorm was quiet, the exception being the ticking of a clock. Seokmn finally reached Joshua's dorm; he tried keeping calm, but nothing worked.

He knocked on the door, waiting impatiently. A few seconds passed, and he finally heard a "come in!"

Seokmin opened the door, looking at Joshua, who looked just as nervous. "Hi, Minnie."

As soon as the nickname left Joshua's lips, Seokmin's heart began to race. He smiled to himself as he replied with a quiet "Hello."

Seokmin's body started moving toward Joshua, and before he knew it, he was just inches apart from him.

Joshua, sensing Seokmin's nervousness, wrapped his arms around him, pulling him into a hug.

"What's wrong, princess?" Seokmin's heart started to beat a little faster as the nickname left Joshua's lips.

He knew that it meant nothing to the older, but to him it felt like he had succeeded in life. "It's...just about the whole parent thing. I'm so scared, Shua."

Joshua stroaked Seokmin's hair as the other rested his head on his shoulder.

"I know that you're scared, Minnie. But we'll go through it together, I promise."

Seokmin smiled at Joshua's words. The older man always knew how to make him feel at peace. "Okay."

They both kept quiet for a few minutes, enjoying the presences of each other, but soon Seokmin interrupted it.

"Shua, there's something I've been meaning to tell you..." Joshua looked down at him, confusion all over his face. "What is it?" Seokmin took a deep breath, his heart racing faster every second.

"Shua, I love you. I've loved you from the moment I saw you, but I thought that...you loved Jeonghan. I don't want you to say that you love me too because I'm your friend, Shua. I understand if you don't-"

Joshua interrupted Seokmin with a kiss. It wasn't hurried or heated; it was soft. Seokmin, who was in shock a few seconds ago, had started kissing Joshua back.
