(Requested non binary reader x Vinnie- I did it in 2nd person though- so technically this should count :D)

(Sorry itz kinda short)

The bar was filled with jolly banter and chatter. Vinnie sat beside you on the counter, holding a mug of beer with one hand that spilled over a bit when she swayed occasionally with laughter.

She had invited you out that night to the bar to spend the day's earnings, and she was certainly enjoying herself.

You yourself were unsure, but were more than happy to be there with her anyway. A couple times she offered you a drink, but you refused politely; you presumed one of you should stay sober just in case.

Vinnie's free arm was draped over your shoulder, and you didn't mind- even if it might've mostly been to keep her balance.

A few bar regulars had been conversing with Vinnie:

"'Ay- that ur lover, barley girl?" They chortled drunkenly.

You watched as Vinnie chuckled along with them.

"Yeah, so what? Jealous?"

Your cheeks went warm at her intrepid answer, but you kept quiet.

The men slapped their knees with ample amusement.

"A lad like you finding a lover? I'd hardly believe it!"

Vinnie's grin turned into a scowl.

"What're you implying?"

"That's not ur partner there, ain't it!"

They laughed again.

Vinnie suddenly turned to you, and grabbed your chin- planting a kiss right on your lips.

You flushed wildly, staring blankly at her after she pulled away and wiped her mouth to smirk at the men.

You tried to remember which round she was on again and failed miserably.

The men shook their heads in disdain and turned to mumble to each other.

Vinnie 'humph'ed in victory.

You could barely bring your lungs to breathe.

She glanced back at you, her intoxicated smile widening.

"You alright there? You look like you're about to pass out on me!"

Despite the ironic situation, you managed to speak.

"I- you- w-wha??"

Or rather stutter.

Vinnie only guffawed heartily yet again.

"Maybe I should do that again to get your head on track, huh? Hah!"

You blinked several times.

Then Vinnie unexpectedly calmed and cocked her head to the side.

"Seriously- don't die on me." She spoke, tapping the bottom of her mug against your thigh.

This action also made you slightly embarrassed and your face burned hotter.

She abruptly burst out in teary-eyed laughter again, her lidded eyes taking in your surprise and only making her laugh harder.

Then she suddenly fell forward- and you just barely caught her by the arm.

You walked her home.
