I woke up to the cheerful sounds of "Happy Birthday" being sung by Nora, Marcus, and Martinus. As the last echoes of the song faded, I stretched and blinked away the sleepiness. The warmth of their embraces and the joyful melody made waking up feel truly special. I took a moment to soak in the cozy, sunlit room and the happiness of the morning. "Thank you," I said softly, turning to Martinus with a heartfelt smile.

His eyes sparkled with affection as he smiled back. "You're welcome. I'm glad we could kick off your birthday with a little celebration." I hugged him tightly, feeling a profound sense of contentment. "I really appreciate everything you and the others have done. It means so much to me." As Nora and Marcus headed off to prepare brunch, I took a moment to gather my thoughts and get ready. I chose something comfortable yet festive, aiming for a balance between relaxation and celebration.

When I made my way downstairs, the delightful aroma of brunch filled the air, mingling with the excitement of the morning. Nora had arranged a stunning spread in the dining area—fresh pastries, juicy fruits, fluffy pancakes, and an array of beverages. Colorful balloons and streamers decorated the room, enhancing the festive vibe.

Marcus and Nora greeted me with warm smiles. "Happy Birthday!" Nora exclaimed, wrapping me in a hug. "Happy Birthday!" Marcus added, giving me a friendly pat on the back. Taking in the festive atmosphere and their heartfelt wishes, I couldn't help but smile. The breakfast spread was incredible, and the decorations made the morning feel truly special. Nora clapped her hands to get everyone's attention.

"Alright, Y/N, we have one more surprise to make your birthday extra special. It's time for presents!" I laughed, feeling a mix of excitement and curiosity. "Gifts? You really didn't have to." "Oh, but we did!" Nora insisted with a grin. Marcus stepped forward, holding a box. "Mom, Dad, and Emma sent you this," he said, handing it to me. I opened the box to find cozy slippers, self-care products, and other thoughtful goodies. "Wow, this is really nice," I said, touched. "Please thank them for me." "Of course," Marcus replied with a nod.

Nora then announced, "Next up is our turn!" She left the room and returned with a bouquet made not of flowers, but of Polaroid pictures of all of us. "Here you go!" I was overwhelmed with emotion as I looked at each picture. "This is incredible, guys. It's so beautiful!" I said, analyzing the snapshots. "Thank you so much." "We're not done yet," Marcus said, handing me another box. Inside, I found a framed picture of all of us. "Oh my gosh, this is perfect! I can keep it on my nightstand wherever we go. Thank you so much!" "You're welcome," they said in unison, and I gave them all a grateful hug.

"Now it's my turn," Martinus said, handing me a soft package. As I unwrapped it, my eyes widened in disbelief. "Martinus, you didn't!" "I did," he confirmed with a smile. "With a little help from Nora." Inside was the dress I'd admired during our shopping trip. "This is amazing, Martinus! Thank you so much!" I said, hugging him tightly. "I thought you might need something special to wear later," he replied. "Thank you," I said again, still feeling touched.

"Alright, let's eat!" Nora announced, leading us to the beautifully set brunch table As I reveled in the heartfelt gifts and warm hugs, the excitement in the room grew palpable.

The morning had been filled with unexpected surprises and genuine thoughtfulness, making me feel truly cherished. Nora clapped her hands together again, a signal that it was time to transition from gift-giving to enjoying the birthday brunch.

"Alright, everyone, let's dig in! We've got a spread that's just as special as the presents." We all gathered around the beautifully set table, where Nora had laid out an array of delectable dishes. The fresh pastries were still warm, the fruits were vibrant and juicy, and the pancakes were stacked high, ready to be drizzled with syrup. I poured myself a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and took a seat at the table, feeling a deep sense of contentment.
