Sophie Gallego's POV

Everyone is silently watching the camera recording I got during Hunter's fight. That's the only thing I have to prove that I'm not lying. Hindi ako makapaniwala na ako iyong mababaliktad ngayon. Na-sketch na ang mukha niya gaya sa kung paano ko siya isalarawan. The organization has run through its identity but the sketch didn't match with anyone in the database even in the dark web.  Fitch Mikale Ang, a former member of the International Spy System also tried to gather information in the underground society but it returned nothing.

The investigation only resulted in two things; no one recognizes the sketch and no one has ever heard about Hunter which is an absolute lie. He's a boxing champion. Naroon ako sa mismong gabi ng laban niya and everyone is chanting his name. It was very impossible that he didn't exist. At dahil wala silang mahanap sa imbestigasyon, the agency  suspected me for lying.

Bakit naman ako magsisinungaling? Iyon ang mukha niya. I can still remember it as clear as a water could be.

I can't persuade them enough with the talk. Mabuti na lang at naalala ko na may suot naman akong camera sa gabing iyon at sigurado akong nakunan nito ang mukha niya. There are three scenes in the recording where his face was visible. The first one, he was inside the boxing ring fighting with his opponent. The second one, he was putting a bandage to his left eyebrow. And the third one, he was just looking at me. His face displayed in full view.

The recording was paused and his face was displayed in all monitors in the room.

"So that's Hunter?" Calliope asked, curious. I nodded my head.

"The face card is shit." Mahinang sabi niya. Nilingon ko ito at tinaasan ng kilay. She chuckled.

"Eyes and ears here ladies and gentlemen." Pierce said as he ran through the photos and sketches on his table. He heads this meeting on behalf of Captain Deckard who's currently in an urgent meeting with the higher ups.

"So this man." He pointed at Hunter's photo from the recording. "Is Hunter. The sketch matched the  photo from the recording which eliminates the doubt of Miss Gallego's lying to us." 

Pierce looked at me and grins. I almost rolled my eyes. In the first place, I shouldn't be here. I sent my resignation letter to Captain Deckard a few days ago but when the agency accused me of lying, I could not allow myself to be not part of this investigation.

"If it matches. Bakit walang nakakakilala sa kaniya?" Calliope asked. "Hindi naman ganoon kalakas ang dating niya sa underground society dahil ngayon lang rin natin narinig ang pangalan niya. Imposibleng nagawa niyang bayaran lahat ng mga tao para ipagkaila ito."

"Agosto might have paid for it." Sebastian added.

"Pero kung ako ang nasa kalagayan ni Agosto. Bakit ko iyon gagawin? Hunter lied to him. Hindi niya sinabi kaagad ang totoo tungkol kay Sophie and he wanted to have a deal with her."

"He might have lied." Palitan ng suhestiyon ang dalawa.

"We have to go through the whole story again. Captain said he might be a good asset for us to find Maximo Senior. Kaya dapat muna nating intindihin ng maigi ang nangyari." Tumango kami at hinayaan itong magpatuloy.

"The initial memo we received before the start of the mission which is to arrest Agosto and make him disclose his father's location, includes profiles and backgrounds of his men and connections. We all know Hunter wasn't among the list. But if Sophie is to describe, masasabi niyang matagal ng tauhan ni Agosto si Hunter batay sa kung paano sila mag-usap. The first question we need to have a clear answer is that, bakit wala sa listahan ng mga tauhan ni Agosto si Hunter."
