"It hurts " I mumbled rubbing my eyes . I splash water on my face to cool down my eyes which were burning. I looked up in the mirror and try one more time to smile. But hell it hurts...
I relaxed my self saying 'for her you have to be strong ' one more time I look up and this time I smile , fake one but still.
I left my bathroom trying to distract myself from all the thoughts haunting me . I have worn black kurti matching with white plazo. I did some basic skincare cause it heals me . I don't know why but it does. Wearing my earrings I left for downstairs to eat breakfast and found maa there sitting on dinning chair I go near her and give her a long hug and then sit beside her.
I also called my friends , ocean and divya to tell them about maa's condition , there supportive words still roam in mind giving me some peace.
It is alright we will try everything in our power to safe her and still if anything goes wrong don't worry we are always there with you . - ocean and divya.
I smile brightly and this one was not fake , I look at maa and said " apna choco ko khana de deya " she replied " han de diya , abh voh room ma khela raha ha and abh tum bhi khana ka lo varna late ho jaugi " I nodded and started eating my breakfast.
Everything looks like its back to normal so I too try to act like Maa don't have Cancer and she is alright. In every situation Asha maa is so cool like nothing happened may be it is because she had lot of struggle in her life .
I quickly finished my breakfast and left for office after giving maa a long hug.
Few minutes later,
I am sitting on the reception couch waiting for him to come, ahh it's wrong how can the boss come late and not the employees .
I heard foot steps so , I quickly stand up and turn to see who is it . Daksh , the man from yesterday . I greeted him and asked " Good morning mr daksh , what brings you here " I asked smiling a little.
"You" he replied in not so serious tone . I laughed it off and asked " why me ? " . He replied looking at me smiling a little " cause I have talk about the new project we have started ." I was about to reply but stopped when I heard......
" She is not assigned to do that, I will send my other staff member to discuss about the project." Adhiraj spoke in firm tone from behind me sending shivers down my spine, when did he come .
" I think Aadhira and I will make a great team , right Aadhira " Daksh said moving his eyes from Mr Singhania to me . I am standing there like a statue. " I will send luna to look after it " he said and then looked down at me. " Come to my office " he said in authoritative tone. I nodded immediately and followed him .
