Gabrielle sat on the edge of her bed, staring at her laptop screen after devoting several hours to reviewing her notes and study materials for their upcoming finals next week, wrapping up their 1st semester.
The glowing interface of X reflected in her glasses as she hesitated over the keyboard. It had been a few days since she last messaged "Wonnie"—Shaine, she reminded herself. Her fingers hovered above the keys, unsure of what to say, she just finished watching an episode of Enhypen EN-O'CLOCK and she felt the need to tell Shaine that she had already completed a few episodes of EN-O'CLOCK.
Gabrielle shook her head, her wry smile betraying the frustration she felt. Her "me" problem was making a comeback; her mind was tangled up in thoughts of Enhypen and Shaine as if nothing else mattered. It wasn't just about a fleeting interest—this was a deep dive into something that consumed her entirely, making it hard to focus on anything else. She sighed deeply, trying to push aside the distraction, and turned her attention to the open suitcase lying on the floor.
It was half-packed with clothes and books, the only signs of her imminent departure from UP Diliman. She was moving to SAU in just a few weeks after their finals.
Her phone buzzed beside her, interrupting her thoughts. She picked up her phone, seeing a notification from her group chat with Sage and Ariana.
