Wonnie: Gabieee how are you?
Wonnie: Na miss kitaaa!
Gabrielle felt a small warmth in her chest at the enthusiastic greeting. She quickly typed out her response.
Gabrielle: hi.
Gabrielle: im fine. hbu?
Wonnie: Hindi ako okay.
Gabrielle: why? what happened ba? is everything okay?
Gabrielle: okay ka lang?
Wonnie: Luh concern ang Gabbieqouhh
Wonnie: Ackkkkk!
Gabrielle frowned, confused by the sudden shift in tone.
Gabrielle: ???
Gabrielle: Of course ill be worried.
Wonnie: Bakit? Gusto mo ba ako?
Gabrielle frowned as she read the message. Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, hesitating for a moment. She couldn't help but feel a mix of confusion and concern.
Gabrielle: nag-aalala lang.
Gabrielle: being worried to someone doesn't mean na gusto mo na kaagad 'yon.
Wonnie: Ouch.
Wonnie: Joke lang yun haha
Gabrielle: okay ka lang? you didn't answer my question.
Wonnie: Bakit? Pake mo?
Gabrielle's worry deepened. Something felt off. She quickly typed her response, hoping to clear the air.
Gabrielle: nagtatampo kaba?
Wonnie: Luhh ba't naman ako magtatampo?
Gabrielle: sure? you seem like you're tampo.
Wonnie: Hindi
Wonnie: Diyan ka na nga.
Gabrielle's heart sank a little as she read those words. The playful tone that usually colored their conversations was gone, replaced by something she couldn't quite identify.
Gabrielle: hey, dont go.
Gabrielle waited for a reply, her eyes glued to the screen. Seconds turned into minutes, but nothing came. She sighed, feeling an unsettling mix of frustration and worry. What did she do wrong? Was Wonnie really upset, or was this just another one of her playful teases? Hindi matiyak niya matiyak kung ano talaga ang nagtatakbo sa isipan ni Wonnie.
Gabrielle: wonnie? are you still here?
Gabrielle: nagtatampo kaba?
She waited, but still, there was no reply. Gabrielle sighed, her heart heavy with worry and a bit of guilt. She couldn't shake the feeling that she had somehow upset Wonnie, and the silence was starting to feel unbearable.
Gabrielle waited again. As the minutes stretched into what felt like an eternity hindi pa rin ito nakatanggap ng reply. Gabrielle found herself missing Wonnie's usual energy, Gabrielle sighed. Hindi niya alam kung ano gagawin since she doesn't know if she did something wrong or something really might happened to Wonnie. As minutes passed her worriedness to the latter grows, she doesn't know anymore kung saan ba siya ngayon nag-aalala, — it's either she's worried about what happened to baka nagtatampo ang dalaga sakanya. But surely she knows that she miss talking the latter. The latter's energy makes her feel light, napapagaan nito ang pakiramdam niya sa tuwing nag-uusap sila dalawa kahit their means of communication is just via online.
Gabrielle: imy.
She sent the message her heart pounding in her chest aand stared at the screen, waiting and hoping that Wonnie would reply. It felt strange to admit it so openly, but Gabrielle couldn't deny that she missed their chats.
For now, all she could do was wait and hope that the next message she received would be from Wonnie, with the usual playfulness and lightheartedness that she had grown to enjoy so much.
A/N: Medyo busy na ako syug kasi pasokan ko na HAHAHAHAH. Try ko pa rin maging consistent sa pag u-update!
