It's been a hell of a week for Gabrielle. She just finished her last exams. Gabrielle slumped against the wall outside the exam hall, letting out a long, exhausted sigh. The previous week she had been filled with late-night study sessions, almost pulling an all-nighter for studying. But now, it was finally over. The weight of all of it began to lift, replaced by a relief that somehow made her dizzy. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, savoring the moment.
Gabrielle is an intelligent student who excels in all her subjects, making it seem like studying comes effortlessly to her. However, beneath the surface, she struggles to maintain her study habits. Despite the pressure from her parents and the high expectations of those around her, Gabrielle places even greater pressure on herself. She holds herself to extremely high standards, which adds to the weight she carries especially in her studies.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket, pulling her out of her thoughts. She pulled it out to see a message from Sage and Ariana in their group chat.

Sage: Congrats sa pag-survive ng exams, Gab! When ka free?
Ariana: How's your exams Gab?
Ariana: 'Tong si Sage, gala agad iniisip eh
gabrielle: wala namang ata yan ginagawa na iba kundi gumala.
Sage: Grabe kayo sakin! Hindi ba pwedeng miss ko lang kayo?
Ariana: Susss
Sage: Totoo naman! Minsan na nga lang din kita makita sa uni eh! Napaka busy mo ng tao ngayon
Ariana: HAHAHAHAHA madami lang responsibilad
Ariana: How's you exam Gab?
gabrielle: exhausting.
Sage: Tapos naba lahat ng exams mo?
gabrielle: yea, tinapos ko na ka agad. i took some of my exams early than their schedule, yung iba kasi next week pa and medyo hassle naman ata na hintayin ko pa ang next week since i should be taking care of my transfer sa SAU and condo next week rin mismo.
Ariana: So di kapa free? Dami mo pang asikasuhin
gabrielle: why?
Ariana: Sage and I are planning to hang out with you sana next week
Sage: Or this weekend
gabrielle: mhm, i see.
gabrielle: this weekend?
Ariana: Wala ka bang gagawin?
gabrielle: wala naman, next week pa talaga ako magsisimula mag-asikaso ng mga papeles ko for transfer since next week ko rin makukuha yung mga requirements that i comply here sa UP that SAU requested.
gabrielle: kayo ba? i should be the one asking you if wala kayong gagawin bukas eh, baka kasi meron din kayong projects or individual activities that you guys need to finish.
Sage: Wala akong ganap this weekend so I'm free!
Ariana: Ako rin, medjo di busy ngayon sa ssg kaya I'm free
Sage: Tara, gala bukas? Kain tayo sa labas o di kaya pumunta tayo sa bagong café na usap-usapan ngayon.
Ariana: Oo, sagot namin! Deserve mo 'to after ng week na 'to.
Gabrielle: then tomorrow's sound great.
Sage: See you bukas gab, miss na kita sobra!
Ariana: Finally I'll be seeing both of you off set huhu
Sage: Oo nga noh, kadalasan natin pagkikita nasa set tayo for modeling
gabrielle: yea.
Ariana: Biraha lang kasi magkapareho sched natin AHAHHAHAHAHA
