                                                 Chapter 5

I've been looking at my body through the small square mirror hanging loose on the nail. I have a lot of bruises on my leg, my hand and on my neck, definitely the place the Jude guy injected me.

I move my hand slowly to my neck, to where the purple bruise is. My hand slightly touch it and I whimper out, a short agonizing pain escaping my mouth. It hurts badly even when not touched.

I move away from the spot I've been standing, looking at myself in the mirror and take two steps forward. I lean my face outside the small square carved out window, the chilly wind welcoming me. Goosebumps runs all over my body. I examine the dark environment, from what I can see, is a, crescent moon that can barely shine out light, no stars surrounded around it. I only see tall big trees, making the place look like a thick forest.

I'm not even sure if there is a way out.

I poke my head farther, outside the window and look down to see how tall the building is. Surprisingly, it isn't that high like I imagined, I can escape through this window, but the thing is, I won't be able to find my way out, into those thick woods.

There's a knock on the door and I flinch back, don't know why.

“Are you through?” Jaxton asks, from outside the door.

“Not yet.” I say and start removing my shirt and throwing the messed up sweaty shirt on the floor.

“I got you clothes you could change into once you're through.”

I don't respond. I unzip my pants and toss them to the same direction to were my shirt is. I'm only left in my inner wears. A knock on the door.

“Are you in there?” I see the door handle twist.

“I'm in. You can drop them inside when I enter the bathroom.” I say dryly, the door handle stops. I walk into the toilet and close it shut behind me. Few seconds later, I hear the room door open, footsteps walking in.

“I've droped 'em. I'll be waiting outside the room, just call for me when you're through, sweetheart.” I hate the way he pronounces the word ‘sweetheart’. It sounds to good to be true, but then, I feel disgusted just now that he said it. I hear the sound of the door closing.

There are no windows in the toilet, just a sink with one tap, a small bathtub and a rusty standing shower, the tiles looking dark-brown. A old looking WC beside the tap. There is only a black soap, and no bathing sponge. I carry the soap and bring it closer to my nose for any scent, but it has none. It's just plane.

I undid my bra and pant and enter inside the bathtub, standing, I turn on the shower, the cold water running down my body that I nearly scream out.

I step out of the bathroom, shivering from the cold bath. There is a big top laying on the bed with a small towel. I pick the towel and start cleaning myself and when I'm through, I wear the big white polo, with nothing under.

My hair is damp and wet.

“Can I get something for my hair?” I ask the door, Jaxton in particular.

“we don't provide basic needs for our guest. If you're through tell me, let me open the door for you, you've wasted a lot of time sweetheart and your dinner is getting cold.”

The thought of me having dinner with this strange boys, wants to make me cry out so loud and murder them with my bare hands. Maybe I should have taken my taekwondo session seriously. A lump has already formed up in my throat.

“S-sure” I choke out. I take my head up to prevent the tears that are threatening to fall out.

The door opens and he walks in. He looks me up and down, and I try my best not to feel intimidated and clutch the clothe close to my body. A smile is plastered on his lips.

The weather is still very cold, the cold lingering on my body and goosebumps resting on my skin.

A long silence is stretched between the both of us. I use the opportunity to ask the awkward question I never imagined myself would do in my life.

“I-I don't, hav-have something to wear under.”

His lips curls up to a smile, his eyes glistening with satisfaction. “I don't give a fuck sweetheart, if you don't have anything to wear under,” he indicates with his hand. “You're our prey and it's none of our business to care about what you need.” he closes the door behind him and steps forward, and I take a step back.

“you can as—” he steps forward and I step back. “well, want to use—” he steps forward and I step back, finally meeting the wardrobe with my back. “the one you've got. Hmm?” he halts and places his hands between me, I stare at him with fear displaying all over my face.

At this moment I feel my breath cease, my heart beating fast.

Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.

He pushes the strands of my wet hair that's in my face, and tucks it gently behind my ear. He slowly caresses my face with his thumb, down to my cheeks slowly and stops there, he cups my cheek with his hand, his face getting closer to mine that I can only inhale his musk colonge and his steady breath fanning my face.

The door opens loudly, we both freeze but his quick to stop his fear before turning his head over his shoulder.

“Fuck man, were you trying t—”

“Jesus christ. Shut your fucking mouth up, and I wasn't trying to do anything stupid.” Jaxton says, pissed off.

“C'mon bro, she's our—”

“Why the fuck are you even here?” Jaxton scoffs.

“Just came to inform you dinner is ready.” Jude says.

“Now that you've informed me, get the fuck out of here.” he points to the open door.

Jude looks from me to Jaxton and slowly turn to walk out. Jaxton turns to me, my face suddenly going pale, maybe pale-er.

He slowly brings his face to my ear, holding back few strands of my hair in his hand, his hot breath fanning my neck. “You were lucky, but the next time, you won't be.” he whispers, he pulls back and I see a wicked smile curled up in his lips, and slowly he leaves the room. Suddenly, all the air ceased in the room come rushing back and slapping me hard on my skin, I start breathing shakily again. I feel a tight pain on my chest and I clutch that part, slowly falling to welcome the cold woodboard floor and I burst out into silent tears.
