Chapter 14
I open my eyes slowly, my eyelid feeling so heavy to lift. I can hear different mumurs from every corner. It slowly clears and I can hear their voice.
“For how long is she going to be asleep?”
“I don't know, but I think she's weak and just need little from the injection.”
“Whatever you're going to do, make it quick. Big daddy needs her.”
“Fine. I've heard. Now can you all excuse me, the noise won't be necessary and it'll affect her.”
“Whatever it is that you're doing, be fast.” I hear the door opening and closing and the whole place is suddenly silent.
The bed sinks down as I feel someone's presence beside me. “I know you're awake.” the voice says, making me to still on the bed. “I'm not going to take much of your time, just know that whatever I'm about to do will hurt you a bit.”
My heart races immediately, a turmoil forming in my head. I feel the person more closer to me, an orange scent fills my nostrils. I feel gloved hand caressing my hand lightl—I scream out when a needle is pierced into my skin, liquid running through my veins and setting my body on fire.
The person uses something like a cotton wool on my skin and the rest of what happens, I sink into darkness.
I flutter my eyes open, my body feeling numb and my neck hurts pretty bad. I look around with my eyes, I'm not longer in my room. No woods, just a room with black theme, black marble floor, the bed I'm lying on is way bigger than the one I slept on in the woods. There is a lamp on the desk stand, a big window with transparent glasses and all I can see is the darkness outside and the chill wind that pass through from there.
There is also a door at the corner and a large wardrobe standing still.
“You're awake.” my eye darts to the door. Killian is standing on the door frame with his casual poker face.
“Where am I?” fear is creeping slowly to my body.
“Follow me, the boss wants to see you.”
“What boss?” he heads out of the door and I rush out of the room behind him, forgetting my entire body hurts. It only occurs to me,when I step into a cozy area of the house, it looks like a mini bar. Drinks lined up in the shelves, Brandon and Jaxton are here and a new face I haven't seen before. A man is sitted on a leather black couch, holding a glass cup of a drink in it.
When I get closer to him, he flash a smile and rest his glass cup on the glass table.
“Thank you my boy.” he tells Killian, who leaves my side and joins the others.
He has a golden skin, sea blue eyes and a dark brown hair. Wrinkle are lined up on his forehead, but his face looks sculpted well. He looks like a man in his forties or so…
“You must be confused as you look.” he cocks out with a sly grin. “I never knew this day will come when I'll finally meet my daughter.” he spits the word ‘daughter’ out. And my face turns perplexed at that moment.
“Daughter?”
“Yeah. I see your bitchy mom didn't tell you anything about me. She hid your father's identity from you.”
“Don't you dare call my mom a bitch!”
He laughs out.
“You can't do a thing too me, no matter the offencive words I call her, because she's one. And I see she didn't train you well to respect your dad.”
