Chapter 18
“You look good.” Jaxton compliments me as I tie the lace of my boot. I drop my feet down and dust my pants.
It's my turn to kill tonight, and I'll be going with Brandon. Though I have to be quick to finish my operation.
I'm about going out when Jaxton grabs me roughly by my arm and pulls me back. His eyes darkens.
“I hate when I give a lady compliment and she doesn't answers me. That's rude.”
“You know what's rude?” I snap my arms out of his rough old. “When you pull a lady back, roughly, even when she hates the compliment.” I spit out.
“You're becoming so aggressive and bossy this days and I'll like to teach you a lesson. Maybe the cooks will stop serving you food.” he grabs my chin tightly and tilts my head up to face him.
His breath fanning my face.
He brings his face closer to—the door opens and he sets my chin free. He steps back. I tilt my head to the door where Brandon is stepping in from.
“The car is all set, we should leave now.” Brandon says, and I follow beside him as we head out.
Thank goodness he came, or I'd have carried my operation early.
He parks his car far from the duplex House, so that whoever our prey is, won't see us.
“He is taking forever.” he sighs, frustrated. Drumming his fingers on the steering wheel.
“You have a gun?”
“I'll always have one.” even a dagger.
“Okay.”
Silence.
“Do you think we should have some fun?”
“What type of fun?” my eyebrows knits, in confusion.
He breathes out and looked at me for a long while, that I think our prey might have escaped.
If so, thank God.
“You're looking beautiful and strong this days, and it's driving me insane.” he admits.
“So?”
“Remember what happened the day you escaped? I can give you that free chance if you allow just only me and you to do it.”
“I don't. I prefer staying.”
Lie.
“Wow. So you prefer staying back now, huh? Even if you do there'll still be plenty of time to fuck you for as long as we want. And we won't take it easy on you the next time.” he smirks, and it sends shiver down my spine.
He's right. If I stay a bit I'll be a goner soon.
“I just don't want to do it. I'm fine staying back.”
“But I want it now.” he brush the few strands of hair and tuck them behind my ear. His eyes sparkles with lost. “We can make it quick…” he whispers in my ear, and bite on my earlobe. His hands snaking from my torso, boobs, and he placed them on my waist.
“Brandon—please don't do this.” I breath out, tears already gathering at the brim of my eyes.
“You smell so nice. Like vanilla. Citrus…” his nose brush my neck, he licks my ear. My stomach tightens. His hand slides down and into my pants, I reach to grab his hand to stop him but he's fast enough to stuck his two fingers inside my pussy, I gasp out.
“Brandon don—” he digs his finger deeper.
“Shh, and let's enjoy this moment together.” he whispers and crash his lips on mine. Tears slide down freely.
I have only one thing in mind, and I'm going to do it now.
I pull his face closer too mine, even more. I carefully bring out the dagger tucked in my boot. Carefully, as his still stuck taking advantage of my lips. I stab him hard at his back, he groan out in pains as he separate our lips. Blood is spilling from his mouth so thick, he looks at me eyes-wide.
He slowly points too his stomach.
“I'm sorry.” I whisper shakily and pull out my gun from my pocket, pointing it shakily to his forehead. Tears slipping uncontrollably from my eyes.
I shoot him twice. One on his forehead, the other one his knee cap. His blood spills on the glass window.
Rest in hell.
I need to get the hell out of here. I'm still thinking, my brain is a total mess.
“Brandon, are you there?” I flinch back in fear, only to realise he had a communication speaker with him all this time, the boys must have heard the gun shot.
Don't panic. Don't panic. Don't panic.
“Has she done her job? We can't wait any longer.”
I pick the black small speaker. I inhale and exhale.
“Yes. I've done the job. Brandon went to pee.”
“Sweetheart, is that you?”
“Yes.” I force the words out. “We'll be back in no time.”
“Rouger that.” he stops speaking and I finally release out shaky breaths. I need to put my acts together, if I'm going to escape today, I'm going to do it real quick and more careful this time.
All I have to do, is to throw Brandon dead body into the bush, thank goodness he parked close to one. Then I'll clean this whole place up and drive back, it's good the car is automatic it won't be that hard. And then, I'll just act like nothing ever happened and think of a brilliant lie to tell them, but that'll come later.
