"Leaves growing out of the body? Strange...."

"Yes, you'd think he somehow inserted a seed in himself, but I couldn't really find a trace of that. It's like he is the seed himself, I've never seen anything like this." Tighnari replied to the traveller.

"He might be poisoned"

"I doubt that, I looked into his blood and there wasn't any strange pattern. I called you here to ask you for help, perhaps you're aware of something shady going on."

Cyno blinked as he looked to the side, thinking. He would be lying if he didn't think there could be a potential link between this and what he was thinking about, but it could also be a stretch.

"Hmm...not really..."The traveller paused, trying to refresh her memory and thinking about the encounters she had this week.

"I do have an idea of someone that could be any help though!"  She said as Tighnari lifted his head.
"I would appreciate it"

"There's this pharmacist we met a couple days ago. She could help you figure out the root cause of this man's condition. Her name was...y/n I think?" She looked up at Paimon who nodded. "Y/n?" Cyno and Tighnari let out in harmony.

"You met her?" Cyno asked.

She nodded. "We met her while doing a commission. She is still studying though; I think you could find her in the Akademia."

"How is she doing, is she alright?"

"She was going home tired from all the studying, but she was still very cheerful" Paimon answered Cyno."Why ask? Did something happen?"

"Nothing, I was just wondering..."Cyno answered mundane to avoid any dangers.

"That would be really helpful indeed, thank you traveller. I will reach out to her." Tighnari said.

"You should stay here and keep an eye on the victim. I'll go get her." Cyno turned to Tighnari, to which he nodded.

"Alright if you say so, then I'll prepare some samples for her to save time."

Cyno set off to the city, trying to hurry up. It somehow made him excited, but he couldn't tell why. Perhaps he wanted to check up on you if you really were doing well since last time. He couldn't get it off his mind, and it was really bothering him. He had other matters to care for as the general, but he just couldn't ignore it. He found it so suspicious.

A while after the accident, he had digged in the archives to find your records. He already knew that you were adopted at a young age, but anything before that was somehow impossible to find. There was nothing out of the ordinary about your identity, so why did the fatui care? He had to dig deeper.

He wanted to talk to you personally about it, so no matter how busy he was, he always spared some time every day to visit the Akademia. While it was odd to others that a matra was roaming in there, he didn't care. He was often visited the library, just waiting and seeing if he could catch a glimpse of you, but it never happened.

Strolling through the aisles of bookshelves, as he came to look for you one last time, his eyes flickered around the area of the library. As per usual, you were nowhere in sight. He was about to pass a row of books when a flash of movement caught his eye. He stopped his tracks for a moment, stepping back so he could take a better look without you noticing him. Peeking his head out, he found you sitting on one of the tables in the corner, writing something while looking from one book to another.
