I don't own the picture.

It was the middle of the night and Weiss couldn't sleep. It was not because the day wasn't exhausting or because she had eaten something bad. It was just because she was scared for a reason not known to her.

Weiss looked to the side and saw that Blake was in the same position. Blakes eyes were wide and targeting every shadow in the room. Only Ruby and Yang seemed to not be affected by the fear filling the room. "What am i even concerned about? The whole talk went well." thought Weiss.

After a small discussion with Ruby Weiss has settled for at the very least give her a chance to let her be the team leader.

"It is past midnight. I now only 8 hours and 47 minutes to get to the first class i will ever get in beacon. Until then i have to at the very least get some sleep in." thought Weiss as she looked at the clock and tried to close her eyes again.

Only to rip them back open the moment she thought that she heared a scream. Weiss sat herself up and looked around to find nothing but the shadows slowly creeping towards her. And just liked that she was five years old again. Her father had instructed her to repeat the same script over and over again until she had nightmares of her father beating her for every false line.

"Weiss! You have dissapointed me for the last time!" heared Weiss and with a trembeling body turned Weiss around to see her father standing there with the bloody sword of her grandfather.

"You haven't listened to me. For your punishment this time i shall take your eyes. With that you can kiss your dreams as a huntress good bye and remain my puppet." said the bloodsoaked image of Jaques while weiss was crawling further and further away from the shade which reached for her until she had nowhere left to run.

Weiss wanted look away from jaques but she was frozen in shock and fear. "How about i start with the healthy eye." said jaques. She began to whimper and cry as Jaques lifted the bloody sword to her healthy eye. And slowly ever slowly he moved it forward until...

Her vision was filled with red. But ít wasn't her blood. Jaques had been obliterated with everything above his waist missing.

"How pityfull. That is everything that was left of my once mighty bloodline. And i though creating the first hereditary semblance would have preserved my might. And to awake me in such a way. How terrible. To not only need help like that for a mere nightmare but no to have someone like that in your life is unforgivable." could Weiss hear a raspy voice behind her.

The voice was definitly male with a demeaning presence. Pridefull and powerfull demanding not a second of distraction.

She tried to turn around only to hear a swoosh and then see her vision tilting. And it tilted and tilted until she saw her own body which was missing it's neck.

"You are not worthy to see my splendor mongrel. You are not worth to bath in my light until you have proven yourself. Now. WAKE UP!" Weiss heared before everything wentr dark.

(...)

And with that woke Weiss up with a scream before grabbing her neck thinking she had been decapitated. She was bathed in sweat with her night gown sticking to her skin.

"So. You have finally been awaken. I thought i have to get the nurse" said Ruby who already began practicing the aura forging technique Percival taught her by forming a small simple blade for a dagger out of her aura. But like always it popped like a bubble when she came close.

"Wha..." began Weiss only to look at the clock. It was 8:30.

"There is only half an hour left till class! And i still need to shower and everything! Why haven't you woken me up earlier?! And where are Yang and Blake?!" screached Weiss angry.
