okay i don't really do separate a/ns often but i realized that the previous chapter was probably much harder to understand than i intended, so here's a short explanation for the time being (i'll be reworking it once i get to editing the book)

basically, kayoung is the reason for everything that's happened to jang-mi throughout the book - she's the reason they got photographed in the coffee shop, she planned wonwoo's car crash, jang-mi getting fired from hybe and also hoshi's change of date for his enlistment (essentially all of the things meddling with their relationship were caused by kayoung).
kayoung wanted hoshi gone to finally give jang-mi an ultimatum to "get revenge" for what she believes happened to sara.

i'm sorry that i might've confused so many of you with it, i have plot blindness - by which i mean things make sense in my head, but that might not necessarily translate like i intended to writing. please do tell me if you have any questions left, i will eventually rework this chapter to be more understandable but this is the clarification i can offer at the moment.

let me know if you need any more explanations, and have a great day! <3
