6 months until enlistment

Jang-mi huffed. I.N writhed under her as she attempted to insert the dangly earring into his earlobe, letting out small squawks as she missed the hole multiple times and prodded him with the sharp end enough to make his ear resemble swiss cheese.

"I can do- YEOW! Please, just let me do it," he pleaded. She shrugged and relented as he put it inside in one go.

"Sorry. I'm covering for Ahri because she's sick, I don't really interact with artists much. I'm more in charge of all the background things that keep the department from falling apart," she explained.

He nodded along as she spoke. "Makes sense. I was wondering why I haven't seen you around much, though Ahri noona said you've been in the department a few months now."

"Mhm." She checked her watch, noticing it was about time for her to report back to Sungmin and the rest of the crew. "I'll leave you here then, Sungmin probably already briefed you on your quick changes. Good luck on the performance," she said, quickly leaving the green room and navigating through the corridored maze known as the Gocheok Sky Dome.

She couldn't help but reminisce being there. It was where her first concert with Seventeen was held, and the excitement and exhilarating buzz the whole dance team felt was truly unforgettable. Jang-mi couldn't help but laugh at fate: once on stage, performing with one of the biggest acts in a sold out dome tour, now resigned to wandering the corridors and making sure not a single shoelace or ring was out of place, for if that were to happen, her and the whole team would probably be buried alive by Sungmin.

After 5 minutes, she finally found the rendez-vous spot in the wings of the main stage. The fans hadn't started filing in yet, so there were multiple crews and assistants walking around on the stage and setting things up.

Hyunwoo eyed Jang-mi, gently pushing her out. "Come on. If you wanna go up on there, no one's stopping you," he urged her.

She just looked at him, and after a few moments, decided to go out onto the stage. Her view opened up to a gigantic dome, seats extending from her far right to the far left as far as she could humanly see. The scale was unimaginable - somehow, she never managed to realize how huge it was when she was performing. Might've been the lights, or the nerves. Possibly both.

She snapped a few photos and left the stage to reconvene with the crew.
