The Weapon

Every person had a weapon that fit them. Weather it was crafted by it holder, past down a family line, or found and used every weapon had a purpose to its person. Capitano had his sword, constructed form his magic, the knave pulled hers from the abyss.

Azula had a weapon made from her dragon scales but it was said to be lost in Khaenri'ah. When the people locked her in the box, they tried to rid her of the world. No one knows if that weapon still exists.

"I'm part of the fatui now?" Azula asked Columbia. Columbia let Azula stay with her for the night.

"Technically, you work for the Tsaritsa. I bet we can get you a coat too." She smiled.

"They are soft." Azula recalled the fabric of Capitano's coat on her skin.

"Who let you wear theirs?" Columbia looked at her.

"The captain." Azula chimed.

"Oh." Columbia had seen Capitano take his coat off a handful of times. Not that he hated not wearing it or that it was because of his job but that it's just the way he is. "How nice of him." Columbia made a note to tease him about it later.

"My sister told me that he was going to train me, what exactly is that about?" Azula our the elastic at the end of her braided hair.

"Each of the harbingers are ranked by strength from one to eleven. Tartaglia is eleven, the tenth is vacant, ninth is Pantalone, eighth was Signora but the Raiden shogun killed her, seventh is Sandrone, sixth was the balladeer, fifth is Plucinella, fourth is the knave, third is me, second is Dottore, and the first is Capitano. He's the strongest and can help you get back up to your previous strength." Columbia explained.

"How strong is he?" Azula tilted her head to the side.

"Strongest being in all of Teyvat." Columbia answered. "He's a good guy, smart, nice, he's just a bit... stand-offish."

"Oh." Azula nodded.

"He already seems to like you. Good night little dragon." Columbia started humming the same lullaby she always does.

In the morning Azula awoke to find Columbia awake and enjoying some tea while humming.

"This was on the step this morning." Columbia motioned to a two sided scythe.

Azula smiled and picked the weapon up

Azula smiled and picked the weapon up. Feeling a decent amount of her power return. She took a deep breath and let out a Frigid breath that could be seen in the air. The sovereign held her signature weapon to her body and closed her eyes.

Columbia had let Capitano in and they both saw as the ends of Azula's hair glowed a bright blue and then darkened again as she opened her eyes.

"mihi ferrum." She whispered before making the axe disappear and a bracelet appeared around Azula's wrist. Silver with two dragon heads. "Captain." Azula turned around. "Shall we get started?"

"Good luck you two." Columbia started to hum again and walked off to another part of the house. They had home to a relatively dead aria that seemed isolated.

"I'd like to see your current strength." The captain set up five candles. "Light only the three in the middle." Azula looked from him to the five candles, as her eyes passed the middle three the wicks lit with a blue flame.

"Can tell you I have no average pyro abilities." Azula walked over and blew out the scentless candles.

"I already know that." The captain remarked. "Next we test your fighting abilities." Fontaineian mechas activated from the corners. Azula seemed fascinated by the technology. They quickly shot things at her in different elemental types. She dogged and when she got close, inspected the mecha rather than fight it and that landed her on her ass. Capitano didn't want you to hurt her and disassembled the remaining enemies. "The changing and evolving world will not think twice to try and kill you. You have to be aware of your surroundings and the things around you." He helped her up. She seemed a bit embarrassed as she brushed the dust off her clothing.

"You have no idea how much has changed." She checked to make sure her clothes were clean.

"You would be correct, I am mortal you are not. You have experienced six thousand years, give or take your time in the stone." Capitano said.

"Six thousand years?" She sat on a nearby bench. "I only remember five." She dropped her head in her hands. Recalling her years and realizing how much time she lost.

"Your body was preserved at five thousand years old. You didn't age nor awake in the stone." He sat next to her.

"I don't know were I am, where this even is, who I even am." She sighed.

"What is the last thing you remember?" Capitano asked.

"Them taking some of my power and then going to sleep for the night, I used yo fly freely till the heavenly principles came." She spoke. "It's all
Gone." He just listened as she talked for the rest of the time. Capitano made a plan to visit Natlan. "Back to training please." She stood up abruptly. He stayed seated for a moment before raising as well and activating new mechas.

She pulled out her weapon and did better. It was obvious that she was distracted. He watched her fight and took mental notes as to things she could work on. Offense was fine but she struggled a bit of the defensive part.

At the end of the day she seemed to barely be awake. He should have known better than to keep her out that long. It had been her first full day awake and she would have to get used to staying up all day. He took her back to Columbia's.

"Good night captain." Azula smiled and entered the house. He wanted to make sure she got to bed so he went in as well. She did in fact get to bed alright and he stayed for a cup of tea.

"You let her wear your jacket?" Columbia poured her some tea into her cup.

"You saw what she was wearing, it was freezing in there." He replied.

"What is it you see in her?" Columbia skipped to the point.

"What are you insinuating?" He remarked.

"I have seen you take that off... four times, even in the hottest weather you were in. Perhaps it's the intimidation factor, don't know don't care, you give it to her because it's cold. You opened the box before you got here either it and you usually get the job done quick." She took a sip. "I'm not stupid."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Capitano scoffed.

"You will soon enough." She smirked.
