It had been a few days and Capitano still hadn't returned, both of the girls were concerned. Even the Tsaritsa knew something was wrong.
"The agents have returned but he has not." The Tsaritsa told the two.
"I'll go after him." Azula said.
"Not a smart idea." The Tsaritsa shook her head. "I know about the two of you."
"And? If someone has done something to him, none of the harbingers stand a chance. It is the only smart plan." Azula stood up.
"She's right." Columbia nodded.
"Fine. Only do what you must." Tsaritsa sighed. The information as the whereabouts of the captain. He was sent to some ruins that were under the control of the abyss. At least three Heralds were inside. She arrived rather quickly.
"They aren't as strong as they think if the first fell for the oldest trick in the book." One of them laughed.
"Aren't you afraid of what the others could do?" At least one of them was sensible.
"He's the strongest they have." The other added. She snuck past them and found where they were holding Capitano.
"What is your plan?" There was a human with them.
"Like you could get that information out of me." Capitano shook his head.
"I'm not who you think I am." The blonde woman spoke.
"You're the travelers twin, but your magic is long gone." Capitano chuckled.
"I don't want to resort to torture but I will."the blonde smirked.
"The Tsaritsa knows something is amiss by now and you're not prepared for who she is going to send out." Capitano said.
"You're the strongest she has."
"Wrong." Capitano shook his head. "There's a new piece on the board."
"Right." The woman rolled her eyes and pulled out a sword. She went to stab the captain with it but blue flames rose around him.
"What is this?" She backed up.
"Checkmate." Capitano nodded at Azula. "Told you."
"Who are you?" The blonde was clearly ready to fight.
"Legend of the dragon spirit." Azula smiled. The third abyss herald snuck up behind them and pushed his hand through Capitano's chest. The world froze around her. Azula took a deep breath and released her dragon spirit form.
As if it never happened, Capitano was healed. He the fire cleared and reveled two dead adyss heralds and Azula holding her axe with a black dress on and a blue Chinese dragon circling her.
Capitano hadn't seen this side of Azula. It was as if she was between her human and dragon form. Her axe disappeared and flames rose around her as she transformed back to her human form. She fainted and Capitano caught her just in time.
"Crystalfly?" Capitano gave her a quick check before he came to the conclusion she had fainted for over use of her power. He picked her up and carried her to the entrance of the ruins. Lumine fled with the remaining abyss herald and obviously wasn't coming back. When Capitano reached Their home, he set her down in the bed. He gave her another once over to prove she wasn't hurt. A new scar appeared on her chest right between her breasts.
He went to the bathroom and took his clothes off and examined himself. He hadn't had a scratch on him. The place where he was stabbed wasn't even affected. He should be dead. It proved he knew very little about what Azula was truly capable of. He showered and checked on Azula once again before going to get Columbia. When the two arrived back, she was still asleep.
"What was it like?" Columbia asked.
"It was hot but it didn't hurt, she did something similar to Xaoi, Zhongli's kid. She gave him his wings back. I think she's stronger than anyone else in this world." Capitano said. "I didn't know she had more than two forms."
"You're afraid of her?" Columbia suggested.
"Weirdly, I'm not." He shook his head. "She doesn't know who I am or what I have done."
"You have never killed anyone, you do things with honor and don't resort to murder. Old habits die hard." Columbia scratched the idea of tea and grabbed a bottle of wine. "Have you told her you love her yet?"
"No, kinda got kidnapped by the abyss." He said. "Have you heard of the legend of the dragon spirit?"
"Yes, it's a beautiful tale." Columbia nodded. "Wait,"
"My girlfriend is the legend of the dragon spirit, the original pyro dragon sovereign, and the strongest being in all of Teyvat only succeeding me." Capitano said.
"Power is attached to power." Columbia smiled. "Her majesty knows by the way."
"She is the god of love after all."
"It's getting late." Columbia noticed it had gotten dark. "See you tomorrow."
Capitano finished his glass of wine and went to the bedroom. Azula was awake but he couldn't tell. He smiled and took his shirt and pants off. He got into bed next to her.
"I think I love you Azula atmosphere, if only I could tell you when you were awake." He whispered in her ear.
"I love you too Capitano, my knight." She whispered back.
