When Azula woke up, she decided to check her mail from the previous day. The only one that sparked her interest was from Childe. Sho opened it and read the contents before quickly getting dressed, writing a note, and dashing out the door towards liyue.
She arrived within a week and knocked on the door of the two lovers.
"He planed the wedding." Childe opened the door.
"Really? That's what needed my immediate attention?" Azula shook her head.
"He planed the whole thing within a week."
"Ok? Fast but whatever."
"I'll explain. After you left, he got into the wedding planing and then I woke up one morning to begin told I needed to get a tux fitted for our wedding. It's in less than a month."
"I have a feeling him planning the wedding isn't the problem." Azula said.
"Of course not, why so soon? Why not tell me? What's the rush?" He rambled.
"Slow down and breathe." She entered the house. "I will talk to him."
"Please. He's at work." Childe sat down. Azula walked around till she found the funeral home. She walked in and saw Zhongli at the front desk chatting with someone in another room.
"Morax." Azula stood in the main doorway.
"Zula." Zhongli straitened his spine and stood up.
"Mind telling me why you planed a wedding without your groom?" Azula crossed her arms.
"Can this wait till I'm off work?" Zhongli looked at the door to the other room.
"Zula? Like Azula?" A girl with brown hair in high pigtails walked through the door what he was looking at. "I'm Hu Tao. His boss, and kinda his daughter."
"Yes." Zhongli nodded. As much as Zhongli hated Hu Tao in the beginning, they grew to love each other and formed a father daughter relationship.
"Xiao?" Zhongli looked past Azula. She turned around and looked at the yaksha.
"Xiao!" Azula hugged another of her old friends. "Oh where are your wings?"
"My previous master cut them off so I couldn't fly away." Xiao looked down. Azula motioned for him to turn around and placed her hand between his shoulder blades. Xiao felt her hand heat up then his back before she pulled her hand away.
"There, now I need to speak with your father." She grabbed Zhongli by the front of his shirt and pulled him outside. "Explain."
"After I saw you, I relized that I thought I lost you. I relized that Childe is a mortal and I want to be married to him before he gets himself killed. I don't want to be the immortal that didn't marry his soulmate." Zhongli said.
"Morax," she placed a hand on his shoulder before pulling him into a hug. "He loves you and it doesn't matter if you two are married."
"It does to me." Zhongli added. "I'd marry him right now if I could."
"Let's go." Azula motioned for him to follow her.
"Where?" Zhongli caught up to her.
"You're getting married." Azula continued walking till they reached chile and Zhongli's house. They both walked in and Azula performed the wedding ceremony. They exchanged rings and filled out the paperwork. She smiled and enjoyed drinks with a few friends. Xiao and Hu Tao showed up end enjoyed the small reception. There was a knock on the door and Azula got up to open it with a smile on her face.
"So a party was worth missing a week of training?" Capitano stood in the door way.
"Frankly, it's none of your business." Azula closed the door behind her as she stepped out into the city of liyue.
"Excuse me?" Capitano glared at her.
"I don't have to report every little thing to you. You may be my trainer but you need to know your limits." She crossed her arms.
"Then how about as your boyfriend?"
"I don't need to be around you twenty four seven. I can be independent."
"You have no idea what the world could throw at you."
"I can handle myself."
"Can you?"
"I could put you on your ass in a heart beat." She took a step forward. "You are forgetting that I'm the one the Tsaritsa needs." She stepped forward once again. "And I'm the one that gets you all to win your little battle." He raised a hand to wrap around her throat and pinned her against the wall. "Are you going to continue, or are you going to back off?" She glared at him. Electricity sparked in the air. She used his coat to pull him in as he took off his mask to kiss her. The way she was holding his coat blacked the view of his face from both sides.
The separated for a total of two seconds before kissing again.
"You know I'm immortal right?" She pushed him back.
"Yes." He nodded.
"And that doesn't bother you?" She asked.
"No at all." He shook his head. "I wouldn't be the one left behind. That's what bothers me."
"What?" She tilted her head to the side in the same way dogs did.
"I'm the one that leaves this relationship. You will be around forever, I will be the one who dies and you have to watch." He explained.
"Don't make me cry." She closed her eyes.
"Shall we enjoy the party?" He motioned to the door. She nosed and took his hand in hers.
