After fixing Childe's problem, the sovereign and the harbinger made their way back. They went to his house once they reach Snezhnaya due to how late it was. Once they walked in he took her jacket and set them aside. Azula seemed to be stumbling.
"Crystalfly?" Capitano rushed to be by her side.
"I'm fine just tired." She allowed herself to fall into his arms. "You wouldn't mind if I took a personal day tomorrow right?"
"If you need to, training has been consistent for the most part." He picked her up and carried her to his room.
"Ok." She dozed off in his arms and he gently laid her down before getting ready for bed himself.
When he woke up she was gone so he continued his day like usual. Get dressed, go over to Columbia's. Azula wasn't there earlier which was strange but he brushed it off. They had tea and talked like usual till an agent came to report a dragon on the border between Mondstadt and Snezhnaya. The harbingers agreed to check it out and walked to the location.
A blue dragon was sleeping in a flower field. Peaceful, not hurting anyone. The harbingers recognized the dragon and told the agents to ignore her for time being. They stayed for a bit before the dragon woke up, yawned, stretched, looked around, and then transformed into her human form. They handed her a cup of tea.
"Personal day?" Capitano asked. Azula nodded and yawned. "Human form exhausting?"
"No, it just feels nice to be a dragon again for a
few hours. It's freeing." Azula yawned again. They carried on with their day as they usually would. Drinking tea, talking, laughing. Azula told the story of Childe and Zhongli's small issue. They seemed to enjoy each others company on a regular basis. Columbia eventually went to sleep around her usual time and the couple was left awake alone together.
"Move in with me." Capitano spoke up.
"Excuse me?" Azula was taken aback.
"Move in with me. Into my house. Help me make it a home." He grabbed one of her hands.
"My knight," she sighed. "It's only been a month, don't you think that's a bit fast?"
"I don't care about that, time is something we don't have a lot of." He added. "If you don't want to you can just say it."
"I don't know how Columbia will feel about it, I've been here since the time I got here. It's a new sense and I don't think that she will be ok with me just leaving." Azula offered a smile.
"You don't want to move in with me?" He asked.
"I didn't say that, I said that it is a bit of a sudden change for everyone." She answered. "Can I think about it?"
"Of course. You shouldn't feel forced to move in with me." He nodded before taking his leave.
Azula was still sitting at the table when Columbia woke up. She hadn't moved at all."Zula, hello." Columbia waved her hand in front of Azula's face. "What's up with you." She placed a hand on the sovereign's shoulder. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"He asked me to move in with him." She slowly turned her head.
"And?" Columbia sat across from her.
"I didn't know how to react." She shook her head. "He said that he wanted to make his house a home with me."
"Awe, that's adorable." Columbia smiled. "What's stopping you from saying yes?"
"It's a big step, waking up in the same bed, going to sleep together, sharing a room. I mean I don't have a lot to move, but it's foreign to me." She answered.
"New things don't have to be scary." Columbia started to hum to calm Azula down.
"I have to go lay down." She wished to get up but stayed frozen in her seat.
"Breathe little dragon. Columbia spoke softly. "What's the worst that can happen?"
"I fall in love with him, Pierro puts me back in that box, and he dies thinking I left him by choice." Azula answered.
"Zula." Columbia smiled. "If you ever disappeared we would know that Pierro had something to do with it. He's know and if Pierro tries something like that, Capitano will put an end to him. Is there another reason you don't want to move in with him?"
"I've been here since my sister released me. I don't want you to think that I'm leaving you because I got a boyfriend and that you no longer matter?" Azula frowned.
"Don't let me hold you back, go be with him." Columbia lived by herself before. She may have been alone but she wasn't Lonely in the slightest. Many of the harbingers would visit.
"Are you sure?" Azula asked.
"Positive." Columbia nodded. "Go!" Columbia motioned towards the door.
