JERIC’S POV
“Oh wag kayo masyadong lalayo ha. Be sure that you’ll be back by 6 or 7 PM for dinner.”
“Yes mom,” Achi Alyssa and Shobe Almira answered.
“Jeric, Jeron, kayo na bahala dito sa mga kapatid niyong babae ha. Wag kayong magpapalapit ng kahit sinong lalaki mahirap na ang gaganda pa naman ng mga dalaga natin.”
“My gosh, daaad! Ano ba naman yan nakakahiya ka!” Shobe shouted.
We all laughed then I answered, “Don’t worry dad, the girls are safe with us.”
“Oo nga dad. Sa amin palang ni Ahia hindi na sila uubra,” Jeron added while flexing his biceps.
So ladies and gentlemen, this is the Teng family. What you see is what you get. Right now, we are having the time of our lives in the beautiful island of Misibis Bay, Bicol. As part of the “tradition”, we spend quality time together for a few days or maybe even a week on our annual summer getaway. Every year we make sure to try and explore different places so first time namin lahat makapunta dito and can I just say na sobrang breathtaking ng lugar it’s like we were transported to Greece or Ireland. Everything is just perfect and also not crowded kaya sobrang relaxing and peaceful. This is actually our third day already and we’ll be staying for another two if I’m not mistaken. Araw-araw we just hang out at the beach or do some water activities or try the zip line so there was never a dull second. Also, since everyone gets really busy back home, this is the only time that we can bond as a family so we really cherish these moments.
After getting ready, lumabas na kaming magkakapatid sa suite and nag-start maglakad papunta sa beach area. Sina Achi and Shobe parehong naka two-piece pero may patong naman (hindi naman kami papayag kung wala) with matching sunglasses and hats tapos may kikay tote bag pa. Mga ‘to talaga, kahit dito kailangan fashionista e wala naman nakakakita. Inasar nga namin at nag-reason out naman na for Instagram purposes daw. What is vain, right? SMH! Kami naman ni Jeron naka shirt and board shorts lang tapos if ever we decided to go swimming we’ll take our top off nalang and we’re ready to go.
“Uy dun naman tayo sa kabilang side na beach. We’ve been going to the same spot everyday medyo nakakasawa na baka mas maganda dun,” Achi said.
“You’re right Achi! Para we have a different view to take pictures naman,” Shobe replied.
“Hassle naman kayo Achi at Dichi e. Ang layo ng lalakarin tapos baka mas marami pang tao dun, magpapa-cute lang ata kayo sa mga boys e,” Jeron retorted.
“Hoy excuse me, Jeron Alvin Teng ano naman ang tingin mo sa amin ni Almira? We’re not like that! Tsaka hello wala nga masyado nagpupunta dito imposibleng maraming tao dun,” Achi said loudly.
Before things get more heated sinalo ko na yung sitwasyon. “Shoti tumigil ka na nga, say sorry to Achi and Shobe. Tara dun na tayo sa kabila para naman makapag-explore din.”
