SOLARA’S POV
We were waiting for Jeric to come out of the MOA Arena. Actually ako lang naman talaga they’re just here para samahan ako habang nag-aantay. Tito Alvin and Tita Susan went ahead to the car kasi sobrang daming tao. I gave them a hug and said thank you before sila umalis. They’re inviting me to come by their house one of these days so I said yes, I mean how can you decline to that offer di ba? Tsaka I would love to anyway. It is a privilege to know the Teng family on a personal level.
The weird thing is may mga gusto din magpa-picture sa akin probably because of what happened earlier. Even if naglalabasan yung ibang players they’re still trying to get near me and I’m not a snob so pinagbigyan ko na. Ayoko rin na may masabi sila about me and mag-reflect yun kay Jeric. I know how important the fans are to him so I want to get to know them as much as I can. Isa-isa nadin lumabas ang Tigers, they said hi to us then inasar pa ako before going on their way. Finally, we saw Jeric but he was immediately swarmed by his fangirls. Ako din hanggang ngayon pinapalibutan ng ibang fans niya. They were pleasant naman. Medyo natakot ako at first kasi merong fans na hardcore and they will hate the person na nali-link sa idol nila. So far wala namang ganun pero I don’t know sa internet especially on Twitter. Hay, stop na nga. I shouldn’t dwell on those thoughts right now.
“Ate, you’re so pretty. Bagay po talaga kayo ni Kuya Jeric,” one fan said.
“Aww, thank you. You’re so sweet,” I answered and smiled.
“Taga-UST ka din ba? Anong course mo? Tsaka saan kayo nagkakilala?” Another fan asked.
“Yes. I’m a Psychology student. We met in Misibis Bay during the summer,” I replied.
“You’re so lucky! Grabe ang haba ng hair mo! Dapat naman sagutin mo agad si Jeric di ba,” another fan said.
“Uhh…” I smiled and didn’t answer.
“Actually ako ang swerte sa kanya. Dun naman sa kung sasagutin niya ko agad, please don’t pressure her. Balato niyo nalang muna sa amin ‘to girls ha. Okay lang ba?” Jeric said and grasped me gently by the waist. He was there na pala we didn’t notice. He looked at me then kissed me on the temple. They asked for a picture and autograph from him then they went away narin.
“You okay? Sorry to keep you waiting,” he said.
“I’m fine. Your fans were awesome and nice so masaya naman,” I replied.
He turned his attention to his siblings and my friends then he said, “Guys, thank you for looking out for her today. I appreciate it. I owe you one.”
“Wala yun Ahia. You know we got your back anytime,” Jeron replied.
“Follow through the plan and you’ll be fine,” Al said.
“Enjoy your first date and make sure you’ll tell us the details when you get home,” Ate Alyssa said and winked.
“Hoy Teng hindi porke abot Pluto yung pagpapakilig mo kanina ganun-ganon lang yun. Dadaan ka parin sa amin. I-uwi mo ng buo yan si Sol ha, no monkey business kundi lagot ka sa akin,” Joanne threatened.
