I stand in front of the mirror, admiring myself in a crisp white suit. The clean lines and polished look make me feel confident.

With a touch of moisturizer, I began applying a bit of makeup just enough to enhance my features without overdoing it. Makeup isn't really my thing, but today, I want to look my best.

The door creaks open, and Adhira steps into the room, dressed in a stunning sky blue suit. She looks absolutely radiant.

"Wow, my my, look at my best friend! You're looking so pretty, Ira!" I exclaim, taking in her appearance. It's rare for her to wear traditional attire, but when she does, she looks incredibly authentic.

She rolls her eyes playfully and responds, "It's not like you need to exaggerate. Don't hype me up too much."

"Can't you ever accept a compliment? Just look at yourself you're so pretty, Ira." I say, pulling her in front of the mirror.

"But my Saru is the prettiest," she replies, glancing at my reflection with a warm smile.

"Let's get ready , You've already made us late," I remind her.

"I didn't make us late, you just woke up too early," Ira defends herself with a smirk.

I finish up by applying a touch of lip tint and leave my hair in loose curls cascading freely over my waist. Both of us had decided to wear the jewelry we bought yesterday, adding the final touches to our looks.

Just as we're about to head out, Ira's phone rings. It's her cousin calling to let us know she's downstairs. I quickly grab my bag, and we rush out of the room together.
