Kadence Jenner sat cross-legged on the plush velvet couch in her Los Angeles penthouse, gazing out at the glittering skyline. She was 25, at the height of her career, and the world was at her feet—or at least that's what everyone said. Born the youngest sibling in the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kadence had always been the baby, the one who watched from the sidelines as her older sisters, Kendall and Kylie, took the world by storm. Yet, even from a young age, Kadence had known that she was different.
Being a part of the most famous family in the world was both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, the doors to fame and fortune swung wide open for her; on the other, those same doors never quite closed, leaving her exposed to the constant scrutiny of the public eye. From the moment she could walk, cameras had been in her face, capturing every step, every misstep, every breath. But Kadence had never wanted to be just another reality star. She had dreams, big ones—ones that involved the runway, haute couture, and magazine covers, not just social media feeds and tabloids.
At 16, Kadence had made a decision: she would forge her own path, separate from the family's reality TV empire. She wanted to be a professional model, not a personality. Her ambition took her to New York, far from the bright lights of Hollywood, where she immersed herself in the gruelling world of high fashion. The transition wasn't easy. Despite her last name, or perhaps because of it, she had to prove herself tenfold. The industry was sceptical of another Jenner trying to make a name in modelling—Kendall had already blaze that trail. But Kadence wasn't just Kendall 2.0. She had a unique look, a blend of her Armenian and Dutch heritage that set her apart, and a determination that burned like a fire inside her.
By 18, she was walking for brands like Balmain, Versace, and Dior. At 20, she graced the cover of Vogue, and by 23, she was a regular at the Met Gala, her daring fashion choices setting trends across the globe. But with the rise to fame came the inevitable rumours and critiques. The public speculated endlessly about her appearance. She must have had work done, they said. No one looks that perfect naturally. But Kadence was all natural, a fact she had to remind people of constantly. Unlike her sisters, she had never gone under the knife, something she took pride in despite the relentless accusations.
But there was more to Kadence than just her looks. At 22, she made a different kind of headline when she came out to her family as bisexual. It was one of the scariest moments of her life, despite the love she knew her family had for her. Sitting around the dinner table in their mother Kris's home, her heart pounded in her chest as she prepared to speak her truth.
"I have something to tell you all," she began, her voice shaky.
Her sisters looked up, concerned but patient, waiting for her to continue.
"I...I'm bisexual," she said, her words rushing out in a breathless whisper. "I've been seeing someone, a woman, for the past few months."
There was a beat of silence, a moment so thick with tension that Kadence could barely breathe. Then, Kylie was the first to speak.
"We love you, Kadence," she said, standing up and walking around the table to hug her. "Nothing changes that."
The relief was overwhelming, and soon the whole family was around her, offering words of love and support. It wasn't easy being open about her sexuality, especially with the world watching, but with her family's support, Kadence felt like she could take on anything.
Being an aunt to her nieces and nephews was another part of her life that brought her immense joy. She adored them—North, Saint, Chicago, Psalm, Stormi, Aire, Tatum, Rocky Thirteen, Mason, Dream, Penelope, True and Reign. They were the light in her life, reminding her of the innocence and joy that still existed in the world, far removed from the pressures of fame. She spent as much time with them as she could, spoiling them with gifts and taking them on trips, but most of all, just being there for them. Saint, in particular, had a special place in her heart. His obsession with Arsenal was infectious, and it wasn't long before Kadence found herself supporting the football club too, even though she didn't know the first thing about soccer.
Her support for Arsenal was more about bonding with Saint than anything else. She enjoyed sitting with him, watching the games, even if she didn't understand all the rules. It was their thing, something that brought them closer. And when Saint gushed about his favourite players, Kadence listened attentively, nodding along, even though she often had no idea who he was talking about.
Now 25, her connection to Arsenal deepened when she met Leah Williamson, one of the club's top women's defenders, at the Gucci Cruise 2025 fashion show in London on the 13th May 2024. The event was a whirlwind of lights, cameras, and high fashion. Kadence was there to represent Gucci, strutting down the runway in a stunning ensemble that had the photographers' flashes going wild. After the show, she was mingling with guests, sipping champagne, when she found herself face-to-face with Leah.
"Hi, I'm Kadence," she said, offering her hand with a warm smile.
"I know who you are," Leah replied, shaking her hand firmly, her British accent crisp and charming. "It's not every day you meet a Jenner in the flesh."
Kadence laughed, a light, musical sound. "I could say the same about meeting an Arsenal star."
Leah raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "You're a fan?"
Kadence hesitated for a split second, then nodded. "Sort of. My nephew Saint is a huge fan, so I've adopted the team by default."
Leah chuckled. "That's fair enough. At least you've got good taste."
They talked for a while longer, the conversation easy and flowing. Kadence found Leah refreshingly down-to-earth, a stark contrast to the world of high fashion and celebrity that she was so accustomed to. There was something about the footballer that intrigued her, a quiet confidence that drew Kadence in. They exchanged numbers before the night was over, promising to stay in touch, though Kadence wasn't sure if anything would come of it.
Despite her busy schedule, Kadence found herself thinking about Leah more than she expected in the weeks that followed. The footballer had left an impression on her, and Kadence was curious to see where their connection might lead. She didn't know much about soccer, or the Lionesses, the national team Leah played for, but she was open to learning. After all, if Arsenal was Saint's passion, maybe it could become hers too—or at least something more than just a name she heard on TV.
But even as she thought about Leah, Kadence was acutely aware of the pressures and struggles that came with her life. The world expected perfection from her at all times. Whether it was the way she looked, the way she dressed, or who she dated, every aspect of her life was under constant scrutiny. The rumours about her having plastic surgery persisted, despite her adamant denials. The tabloids couldn't seem to get enough of her, speculating on everything from her love life to her career moves. And while she had learned to navigate the spotlight, there were times when the weight of it all felt unbearable.
Being a Jenner came with its own set of expectations. People assumed she had it easy because of her family name, but they didn't see the hard work, the sleepless nights, or the sacrifices she had made to get to where she was. There were days when she wished she could just be Kadence, not Kadence Jenner, the model, the celebrity, the public figure. But she knew that wasn't possible—not with the world watching her every move.
Still, Kadence was determined to live her life on her own terms. She was proud of the woman she had become, proud of her career, and proud of the choices she had made. She knew that fame was a double-edged sword, but it was one she had learned to wield with grace. And as she looked out at the city below, her mind drifted back to her new friendship with Leah Williamson and that chance encounter in London.
Maybe, just maybe, this was the beginning of something new. Something that wasn't about fame or fortune, but about connection. Kadence didn't know where it would lead, but she was ready to find out. Especially now when a bunch of notifications came through stealing her gaze from the skyline in front of her, curious she clicks on the notifications getting even more confused when she sees she has been added to a groupchat by Leah.

This book is going to be different to my others as it will focus on the group chat and instagram posts/stories instead of the life of Kadence Jenner. There will be more than one group chat mentioned but the main group chat is the lionesses one. If you have any questions or queries about this book as you are confused about what I mean, then don't be nervous to drop a comment on this chapter.
Hope you guys enjoy this book.
Many Thanks,
