Kadence woke up early, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains in Georgia's apartment. She stretched, feeling a sense of calm wash over her as she glanced over at Georgia, who was still peacefully asleep beside her. The past few days had been perfect—filled with adventure, laughter, and a growing connection that felt undeniable.

She quietly slipped out of bed, careful not to wake Georgia, and padded over to the window. The city of Munich looked serene in the early morning light, and Kadence found herself smiling at the thought of another day spent exploring it with Georgia. They didn't have any concrete plans today, which meant they could do whatever they wanted—no schedules, no pressure. Just them, living in the moment.

Kadence pulled on a comfortable pair of jeans and a light sweater, and then made her way into the kitchen to start the coffee. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the apartment, and she poured herself a cup, savouring the warmth in her hands as she gazed out the window.

A few minutes later, she heard the soft shuffle of footsteps behind her. Georgia appeared in the doorway, her hair a mess of curls and her eyes still sleepy. She gave Kadence a lazy smile.

"Morning," Georgia mumbled, rubbing her eyes as she walked over to the counter to pour herself a cup of coffee.

"Good morning," Kadence said, her smile widening. "I didn't wake you, did I?"

"No, not at all," Georgia replied, leaning against the counter and taking a sip of her coffee. "I could smell the coffee. You're officially forgiven for waking up before me."

Kadence laughed, setting her cup down. "Good to know I'm in your good graces. So, what do you want to do today?"

Georgia thought for a moment, her eyes lighting up as an idea struck her. "There's this hidden art district I've been meaning to take you to. It's not touristy at all, but it's one of my favourite spots in the city. We can spend the day exploring the galleries and maybe grab lunch at this café I love."

Kadence's eyes lit up at the idea. "That sounds perfect. Let's do it."

Later that morning, they made their way to the art district. The streets were lined with small, independent galleries and street art that added an eclectic and vibrant feel to the area. Kadence found herself mesmerised by the colourful murals that covered the walls of the buildings—each one telling its own unique story.

"This place is incredible," Kadence said, her eyes wide as she took in the art around them. "How did you find it?"

Georgia smiled, her hands in her pockets as they strolled down the street. "I kind of stumbled on it one day after training. I love coming here when I need to clear my head. It's quiet, and the art... it just speaks to me."

Kadence nodded, feeling the same sense of peace as they walked through the district. They stopped in several galleries, each one offering something different—abstract paintings, sculptures made from recycled materials, and photography that captured the raw beauty of everyday life.

At one point, they stopped in front of a large mural of a woman's face, her expression both fierce and vulnerable. Kadence couldn't take her eyes off it.

"I love how powerful she looks," Kadence said, her voice soft as she took in the details of the mural. "Like she's been through something, but she's still standing strong."

Georgia stood beside her, her gaze thoughtful. "Yeah, that's exactly how I feel when I look at it too. Like she's been through hell, but she's still here, still fighting."

Kadence turned to look at Georgia, her heart swelling with admiration. She reached out, gently squeezing Georgia's hand. "You're a lot like her, you know."
