You've thought of everything! Can't wait to see you, Kadence. I'm counting down the days.Kadence Jenner:
Same here, Georgia. This is going to be an unforgettable week.Georgia's flight touched down at LAX right on schedule. After a smooth first-class journey, she felt a mix of excitement and nerves about the days ahead. As she exited the arrivals gate, a well-dressed man holding a sign with her name on it immediately caught her attention.
"Welcome to Los Angeles, Miss Stanway," the man greeted her warmly. "I'm James, and I'll be driving you to Miss Jenner's penthouse. How was your flight?"
Georgia smiled, appreciating his professionalism. "Hi, James! The flight was great, thanks. I'm really excited to be here."
"We're delighted to have you," James responded, leading her to a sleek black SUV parked just outside the terminal. "Your car is right here."
As she settled into the luxurious interior, Georgia couldn't help but feel a rush of anticipation. The drive from LAX to Kadence's penthouse was filled with the sights and sounds of LA—palm trees, bustling streets, and the golden sunlight that California was famous for.
James glanced at her in the rearview mirror. "Miss Jenner mentioned that this is your first time in LA. I think you're going to love it here. The city has a lot to offer."
"It's already so different from what I'm used to," Georgia replied, taking in the scenery. "I can't wait to explore it all."
"Miss Jenner has an excellent itinerary planned for you. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask," James assured her.
As they pulled up to Kadence's building, Georgia was struck by the modern, stylish architecture. The building itself was a testament to the luxury that LA was known for. A doorman opened the car door for her, and another member of staff greeted her inside.
"Welcome, Miss Stanway. I'll take you up to the penthouse," the staff member said, leading her into a private elevator.
When the doors opened, Kadence was standing there in the entrance, her face lighting up as she saw Georgia.
"Georgia! You made it! Welcome to my home," Kadence exclaimed, pulling her into a warm hug.
Georgia laughed, hugging her back. "Kadence! It's so good to see you. This place is incredible!"
"I'm so happy you're here," Kadence said, stepping back to give Georgia a proper welcome. "Let me give you a quick tour before you settle in."
Kadence led Georgia through the penthouse, pointing out the various rooms and amenities. The place was as stunning as Georgia had imagined—floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the city, a spacious living area adorned with modern art pieces, and a kitchen that looked straight out of a designer magazine.
"This is the guest room where you'll be staying," Kadence said, opening the door to a beautifully decorated room. "I hope it's comfortable for you."
Georgia took in the plush bedding, soft neutral tones, and the large window with a view of the city skyline. "Kadence, this is perfect. Thank you so much for having me."
"It's my pleasure, Georgia. Make yourself at home. We've got a fun week ahead!" Kadence replied with a smile.
After Georgia had unpacked and taken a moment to herself, she rejoined Kadence in the living room. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the city.
"So, how about we start with a relaxing afternoon?" Kadence suggested. "We can hang out by the pool for a bit, then have a light dinner before heading to Venice Beach for a walk."
Georgia nodded eagerly. "That sounds amazing. I'm definitely up for a chill afternoon after the flight."
They made their way to the rooftop pool, where they lounged in comfortable chairs, sipping on refreshing drinks as they chatted about everything and nothing. The view from the rooftop was breathtaking, with the city spread out below them and the distant mountains creating a perfect backdrop.
"It's moments like this that make me really appreciate living in LA," Kadence mused, glancing out at the horizon. "It's busy, but you can still find these pockets of peace."
"I can see why you love it here," Georgia agreed, gazing out at the view. "It's such a contrast to the busy city below."
After a while, they returned to the penthouse, where Kadence prepared a light dinner—grilled chicken salads with avocado and a variety of fresh toppings. They ate at the kitchen island, enjoying the casual atmosphere.
"You're a great cook, Kadence," Georgia said, taking a bite of her salad. "I wasn't expecting this!"
Kadence chuckled. "Thanks! I like to cook when I have the time. It's relaxing, and it's fun to experiment with different recipes."
Georgia shook her head in admiration. "I'm impressed. You really are full of surprises."
After dinner, they headed to Venice Beach. The sky was painted in shades of orange and pink as the sun dipped below the horizon. They walked along the shore, the sound of the waves creating a soothing background as they talked.
"This is one of my favourite places to come when I need to clear my head," Kadence said, her voice soft as she looked out at the ocean. "The ocean has a way of making everything seem a bit more manageable."
"I can see why," Georgia replied, her gaze following Kadence's. "It's beautiful and peaceful. I'm really glad we're doing this, Kadence."
"Me too, Georgia," Kadence said, turning to her with a smile. "I've been looking forward to this for a long time."
They lingered on the beach until the stars began to appear, then made their way back to the penthouse. The conversation flowed easily between them, and they found themselves laughing and sharing stories late into the night.
"I'm really enjoying getting to know you better, Georgia," Kadence said as they settled into the cosy living room. "I feel like we've got a great connection."
Georgia smiled, feeling the same warmth in her chest. "I feel the same way, Kadence. This has been one of the best nights I've had in a long time."
