The week had flown by in a blur of unforgettable moments, shared laughter, and growing affection. Kadence and Georgia had spent the last day of Georgia's visit exploring more of LA's hidden gems, soaking in every last minute together. But now, as they drove to the airport, the reality that their time together was coming to an end settled in.

The drive was quiet, filled with the comfortable silence of two people who had grown close in a short time. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the city as Kadence navigated the familiar streets toward LAX.

When they finally arrived at the airport, Kadence parked the car and turned to Georgia, who was looking out the window with a thoughtful expression.

"I can't believe this week is already over," Georgia said softly, turning to face Kadence. "It feels like it went by so fast."

"I know," Kadence replied, her voice equally soft. "But it was amazing. I'm so glad you came, Georgia."

Georgia smiled, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you for everything, Kady. You've shown me a side of LA that I never would have experienced on my own. And more importantly, I've gotten to know you better."

Kadence reached out, taking Georgia's hand in hers. "I'm really glad we got to spend this time together. It's been... special. And this doesn't have to be the end, you know. We'll see each other again."

"Maybe next time in Munich?" Georgia suggested a hopeful note in her voice.

Kadence nodded, her smile widening. "I'd love that. I'll try my best to come to Munich soon, and when I do, you can show me around your city. Maybe take me to one of your games?"

"And maybe a second date?" Georgia added, her voice teasing yet sincere.

"Definitely a second date," Kadence replied, her heart fluttering at the thought. "I'd really like that."

Georgia squeezed Kadence's hand, her eyes meeting hers in a shared moment of understanding. "I can't wait."

They both knew that maintaining a relationship across continents wouldn't be easy, but there was something between them worth exploring further. And they were both willing to make the effort.

Kadence walked Georgia into the terminal, where they stood facing each other one last time before Georgia had to go through security. The moment was bittersweet—filled with the sadness of parting, but also the anticipation of what the future might hold.

"Thank you for everything, Kady," Georgia said, her voice thick with emotion. "This week has been incredible, and I can't wait to see you again."

"Thank you for coming," Kadence replied, her own voice softening with emotion. "It's been unforgettable. I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too," Georgia said, leaning in to give Kadence a warm hug.

Kadence wrapped her arms around Georgia, holding her close for a few moments longer than necessary, wanting to savour the last bit of time they had together. When they finally pulled back, their eyes met again, and Kadence couldn't resist leaning in for a quick, gentle kiss.

"Have a safe flight, Georgia," Kadence whispered against her lips, their foreheads touching.

"I will," Georgia replied, her voice just as soft. "I'll message you when I land."

Kadence nodded, finally letting go and watching as Georgia turned to head toward security. She stood there, waving as Georgia glanced back one last time, before disappearing into the crowd.

As Kadence drove back home, the city's lights twinkling around her, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions. She was sad to see Georgia go, but also excited about what the future held for them. The week had brought them closer, and she knew that this was just the beginning of something special.
