"What did you talk about?" Alcina asked, squeezing my throat while grinding on my lap.
'Fuck,' I let my eyes trail over the human's body. "...Feelings."
"What?" The human stopped, earning a low groan from me.
"About you!"
"...What?"
"I...I was telling Aphrodite about you and how I feel for you. It's new and exciting, and I don't want to ruin this."
Alcina hummed and brought her lips to mine, giving me a light kiss before pulling back. "Tell me the truth: They weren't your cousins, were they?"
"Technically, I'm not related to any of the gods, except maybe Pan. He's probably the closest to family that I have. Like a distant uncle or something," I shrugged. "Why?"
"...Did you and Aphrodite...Did you ever...?"
"Date her?"
"Yeah."
I gave a sharp nod, sucking in a sharp breath to make sure I didn't try to stop Alcina when she climbed off of me. "It was a long time ago."
"Oh yeah? When was that? Before you met me?" I flinched at Alcina's venom, knowing it was just jealousy making her act like this. "Why would you bring her to my show?! Why did you really go talk to her?!"
"...We aren't dating," I reminded the human, trying to hold in the anger from how Alcina was reacting. "But no, it wasn't right before I met you. It was back when the gods first took over. Before Hephaestus was even born."
"...You're right, we aren't," Alcina frowned, turning her back to me. "Vanda will escort you out."
'So that's all?' I silently stood and scoffed, shaking my head in disappointment. "No need. Have a nice life, Ms. Dimitrescu. What we had was fun while it lasted."
As I left the room, a quiet sniffle left Alcina. "...Wai-" I was gone before she could finish. 'I knew it wouldn't last long.'
"...Why are you back so soon?" Aphrodite frowned when I entered my castle.
"What are you doing in my home?"
"I was hoping to get some juicy details! But you're far too early for that."
"...She didn't like the answers to her questions," I shrugged, trying to ignore how much it hurt.
"Alcina asked about me, didn't she?" Guilt laced Aphrodite's voice, already knowing the answer to her questions.
"I agreed to the relationship. You shouldn't feel guilty for loving me before anyone else could. I should've known humans would always get jealous when they realize the goddess of love is my ex."
"...I shouldn't have come to the concert."
"It would've been worse if she found out later on. Better to find out now than later. Look, I'm gonna go to sleep... See ya in the morning."
Aphrodite POV
"...Gods don't need to sleep," I sighed once [Y/N] was gone. 'I have to try and fix this.'
I left the castle with a sigh, using my powers to take myself to Alcina's castle. Once there, I knocked on the door and waited.
The door swung open, revealing a tear-stained Alcina. The hope in her eyes faded when she realized I wasn't [Y/N]. "You're not..."
