"...Maybe," I giggled, making the two gods laugh. 'And I miss hearing her voice in general.'
"We're almost there," Apollo called out, making me glance out. "Have you enjoyed your girlfriend's new music?"
"Alcina's not my girlfriend," I grumbled. 'But it does make me happy when people call her that...'
"Yet," Apollo hummed and smiled. "It's obvious that you want that to change the moment you see her. I'm a god of truth, remember? It's practically written on your face for me."
"...Yeah, well...No one asked you."
Persephone giggled and gently nudged me. "Oh, come on, it's okay to admit it. I mean, if you can tell a story of your time together without rambling about how gorgeous she is for a human, then maybe we'd be able to believe you."
"I-I can do that!"
"Then do it," The two snorted as we landed. "Before we join the others."
"Yo, Alcina," I grinned when the woman jumped and glared at me. "Wanna sneak out?"
"How did you get in here?!" Alcina whisper-hissed, pulling me into a spare room.
"...I'm an ancient goddess...I used magic."
"You can't just-! What if someone had seen you?!"
"Then I guess we're lucky it was just you," I grinned before Alcina slapped me. "...What was that for?"
"Hands. Off," Alcina growled, making me move my hands away from her ass. "You can't just kiss and touch me and think that's going to excuse you sneaking in!"
"What? Would you prefer I do it at night?" I teased and leaned closer to the blushing human. "Sneak into your room at night? Make out and have sex all night long while everyone in the castle is oblivious? My, my, Lady Alcina, how uncouth of you."
"...Shut up and kiss me."
"You hit me," I pouted. "I don't wanna."
"You big baby, I didn't even hit you that hard," Alcina giggled before kissing the cheek she had lightly slapped. "Better?"
"Mm...You missed."
"So I have to kiss you?"
"You did hit me," I reminded her, smirking when Alcina kissed me. 'I wish you hit me harder, actually.'
"Fates, you masochist," Apollo cackled as we joined up with Hades. "But that just proves my point."
"What point?" The king asked before greeting his wife. "My love, welcome back."
"Dear," Persephone smiled and embraced her husband. "Oh, just that your aunt is madly in love with a human and wants her to be her girlfriend as soon as possible."
"Ah, that human," Hades chuckled before giving Persephone a gentle kiss. "Knowing Auntie, she won't admit that to the human."
"Oh yeah?!" I scoffed, crossing my arms over my chest. "Maybe I will!"
"Okay, so you'll ask Alcina to be your girlfriend when you see her again?" Persephone smirked after breaking the kiss with Hades.
"...Shut up and go back to being grossly in love with your husband," I grumbled, earning laughs from the gods.
After Vacation
'Time to go see Alcina,' I breathed before fixing my outfit. 'Do I even look presentable? It's been five years, so I doubt she'll care, but I still want to look good for Alcina.'
"Ready?" Artemis asked as she opened my door. "Oh, come on, [Y/N], you look great! Stop changing the shirt!"
"...Fine," I grumbled, setting down the shirt I had picked up. "But if Alcina doesn't like this outfit, I'm blaming you."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah."
I sighed and followed the goddess out of my room, trying not to fidget with my clothes too often. By the time we reached Artemis' chariot, my anxiety had spiked tenfold, making me pause just before getting on. 'I can do this,' I reminded myself when Artemis glanced back at me. 'Alcina's missed me just as much as I've missed her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have asked me to return.'
Once in the chariot, Artemis took off — passing her twin as he came in for a landing. 'I see it's a day off for Helios,' I relaxed and leaned against the chariot. 'And if Selene had taken me...Alcina would've been jealous. A new woman bringing me to see a human? Yeah, definitely would've been jealous.'
It wasn't long before we landed, bringing back my anxiety when I saw the castle. After a few deep breaths, I bid Artemis farewell and began walking the path to the castle. Once I reached the doors and knocked, I glanced back only to sigh when I noticed Artemis had left. 'Not even going to stay and make sure I'm not getting stood up? How cold.'
My attention turned back to the doors when one opened, revealing Vanda on the other side. "[Y/N]...you're back!"
"Vanda, long time no see," I smiled as the maid motioned for me to enter. "How's Luminita?"
"...Now that the Lady is the matriarch of the castle? A lot happier. We...We don't have to hide our relationship anymore."
"So you're dating?" I grinned, following Vanda through the halls. "How lovely."
"It was shortly after you stopped coming by...Lady Alcina practically begged me to tell Lumi my feelings — said that I'd regret it if I didn't. What happened? We were off the day of the incident, and no one ever spoke of it — especially Lady Alcina."
"...Yeah, I don't blame her for not talking about it," I sighed. "Still, I can't wait to see her again. It's been so long...At this point, I just want to hold her again."
"Well, you don't have to wait long," I froze when Alcina's voice reached my ears, slightly more mature than before, but her voice nonetheless. "I think five years was enough."
"Five years of torture," I chuckled, opening my arms when Alcina rushed over to me, her arms flinging around my neck as mine wrapped around her waist. "Back where you belong."
"I'll be in the kitchen if you need me," Vanda giggled before leaving the lounge.
"Look at you," I murmured when Alcina pulled back slightly, moving my hands to cup her face. "You somehow managed to get more beautiful as the years went on."
"You look exactly the same," Alcina chuckled and leaned into my touch. "...What? No kiss?"
"Just wanted to make sure we were alone first," I admitted before connecting our lips.
'Five years,' My grip on Alcina moved back to her waist before tightening, holding her against my body. 'Five years of not being able to talk to, hold, or kiss Alcina finally ends today.' The human's grip tightened as she sniffled and broke the kiss, burying her face in my neck while she cried.
'It's okay,' I silently promised Alcina, resting my chin on her head. 'We're together again, my human...Listen to me...getting all possessive. Then again...I never liked it when she'd cry.' Once Alcina stopped crying and pulled back, I tilted her head up and connected our lips again. 'I'll never leave you again.'
"Stay?" Alcina asked between kisses. "Hold me all night?"
"It would be my honor."
