"How do you feel?" I asked Alcina with a giggle as she turned to cuddle me, snuggling into my arms.

"Happy."

My eyes fluttered open when I felt a pair of lips on mine, a smile stretching across my face after seeing Alcina. I slowly returned the kiss, my eyes fluttering shut again while I enjoyed the affection.

"Breakfast is ready," Alcina's raspy voice sent a shiver down my spine. "I'm glad I don't have to record or perform any songs soon."

I smirked and opened my eyes again. "Sorry."

"You're not sorry," The human laughed. "Not in the slightest!"

"You're right."

"You're the worst," Alcina laughed as I sat up. "Gods don't get hungry, do you?"

"Mmm, more like we deal with consuming food a different way. Food is usually offered to us as a type of sacrifice, rather than us eating it. We can get hungry, though. We'll usually snack on fruits if we get hungry."

"...Yeah, the way you gods work is a little odd."

"I know," I laughed, watching Alcina stretch. "So, what's the plan for today, my sweet?"

"Help me write a song? I need to come up with something new, and getting you back has given me some ideas. I can work on the instrument sections until my voice recovers."

"Anything to be by your side," I chuckled, pulling her into my lap when she sat up, placing a kiss on her cheek. "I miss hearing you play anyway. Your voice needs the rest, so I'll sing for you."

"Careful, I could get used to this," Alcina purred, guiding me to look at her. "Waking up in your arms just for you to pull me into your lap and shower me in kisses... Promises to sing for me... You can't tease a lady with this."

"So could I," I admitted, tightening my arms around her waist. "I'd love nothing more than for this to be our morning every morning. I'll try to be here as often as possible to grant that wish."

"How tempting," Alcina purred before pecking my lips with a smile. "I'd love that."

"Your wish is my command, my lady."

Alcina laughed before getting out of bed, prompting me to follow her and head into the bathroom. We didn't take long getting into the shower and washing up, simply enjoying our time together while not taking too long so Alcina could still work on her song. The human turned to face me after we rinsed the soap from our bodies, her arms wrapping around my neck to gain my attention.

"When do you have to go back?"

"Tonight, but as soon as I'm able to return, I will. And I'll make sure I can stay for a while when I do."

"I'll hold you to that."

I laughed when Alcina let me go and left the shower after that, making me shut off the water and leave with her. My eyes slowly trailed over Alcina's body, memorizing her curves before she wrapped her towel around her body. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my body, following Alcina back into the room to dry off and get dressed.

Once we were dressed, Alcina grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room with a giggle. I laughed and stumbled after her, letting her pull me to the opera hall, noticing how the maids smiled at their lady's happiness. 'At least we don't have to hide what we're doing in our own- in her castle anymore.'

I made a mental note of that slip-up, already knowing that Aphrodite heard it and would question me about it as soon as I returned to Olympus. Once inside the opera hall, Alcina let go of my hand and made her way to the piano, motioning me over as she sat down. I smiled as I slowly walked over, taking my seat beside her.

Alcina began playing the piano, humming a tune as she did so, prompting me to focus on where she was in the song so that I could turn the page when she needed me to. I smiled as she continued playing, glancing over when she suddenly stopped a few pages in. 'Ah, so this is why she needs help. She doesn't know how to continue it.'

"Need help?" I teased with a smirk.

"Maybe," Alcina laughed, glancing my way. "Have something in mind?"

"Hm... maybe," I murmured, moving my hands to the keys. "...Let's see..."

Alcina rested her head on my shoulder as I started playing, a hum of approval leaving her. "Well, well, well... I might use that."

"Go for it," I laughed as I continued to play. "If I can help you in any way, I will. I want your career to succeed, you know?"

"That's why you're the best," Alcina whispered as she kissed my cheek.

I stopped playing when the door opened, turning my head to watch Vanda and Luminita bring a cart of food in. "Oh... Right..."

"Honestly, my lady," Vanda sighed as Alcina let out a sheepish laugh. "The least you could do is show up for breakfast before you start rehearsing."

"I know, I know... I was just... Excited to work on this song."

Luminita giggled when she saw me move my hands away from the keys. "I think I know why."

"Either way," Vanda sighed, a faint smile on her face. "Take a break and eat, please? You shouldn't work yourself too hard."

"Who put you in charge again?" Alcina laughed.

"...You did, my lady," Vanda laughed. "You promoted me to take some of the load off of Luminita."

"Smartass," Alcina grumbled as the maids brought the cart over. "But fine! I'll take a break and eat."

"I'll make sure she does," I promised the humans when they gave her an unsure look. "Caring for her means making sure she eats, and I care for Alcina deeply."

"At least we can trust that," The humans said in sync before leaving us, making me giggle as Alcina stuck her tongue out at them when the door shut.

"I never expected you to have a childish side like this," I teased Alcina, making her gently elbow me and laugh.

"Shut up."

Sunset

"Hurry back?" Alcina asked before pecking my lips.

"You know it," I murmured, hugging her before reluctantly pulling away. "Next time I'll be able to stay for longer. I'll just have to speak with Hera when I return."

"...Is she mean?"

I laughed and shook my head. "Not if you know how to talk to her. Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it."

Once Alcina nodded and headed inside, I teleported back to Olympus, nearly jumping out of my skin when I came face-to-face with Aphrodite and Hera.

"...Uh...Hi?"
