"You're welcome." Mommy says then she checks on the fancy ice pack that's wrapped around my knee.
Thankfully I didn't tear my ACL, but I did tear most of my meniscus and needed surgery so I'll be out for a few months.
Now I'm back home with my family and we're gonna watch the world cup draw.
"All I'm saying is they travel a lot." My Mama says as she and my Mom walk into the room.
"Baby they're being paid 5 million dollars to shoot for the company." My Mom says. "Who the fuck wouldn't do that?"
Mom and Mama are talking about the fact that my sisters and their wives aren't here.
Bella was paid 5 million dollars to do a week long photo shoot in the Azores islands so she and Lavender went and my sister Violet and her wife Sadie went with them because Violet and Sadie own a villa in the Azores' through their company.
"They also had this planned for months before I was hurt." I say as I look at my Mama.

"So there's no reason for them to miss out on that much money." I say.
"Their sister is hurt..."
"And I'm fine Mama." I say. "If I was dying and in hospital then I'd understand them cancelling everything."

"Mama what could they do to help me that's not already being done?" I question.
".........Snuggle?" Mama says.
"Really?" I say with a smirk.
"You see what I have to deal with?" Mom questions causing me to look at her.
