Jasmine's POV

"Oh shit." I groan as I sit down at my lunch table here at the Arsenal training center. "I'm getting too old for this."

"For sitting?" Alessia questions.

"Football." I say.

"Well you got like 6 months left." Emily Fox says.

"Hallelujah." I say.

"Stop saying that." Leah says as she sits down next to me. "It makes me sad."

"Oops." I say as I look behind Jessie and peer into the gym where Scarlett's doing her PT.

The Arsenal meal room looks into the gym.

"She seems to be getting strength back in her leg." Jessie says.

"Yeah she can walk without crutches now which is good." I say.

"Who does the Canadian that hurt Scarlett play for?" Leah questions.

"An NWSL team." Jessie says.

"That's good." I say.

"Why?" Sophia says.

"Cause if Leah and or I got to her then we'd probably break or leg." I say. "And Scarlett would definitely break her leg."

"So would most of the England team." Lotte says.

"Fair." Jessie says.

The hoe that hurt Scarlett one million percent injured my wife on purpose.

Stupid hoe.

"Ooh she's singing again." Lena says.

When Scarlett does her PT stuff she wants to be left alone so she can do her rehab stuff listen to her music, and sing her show tunes.

The physio's watch from afar incase Scarlett needs help.

"Everyone shush." Sophia says then we listen to Scarlett sing.

There was a time when men were kind
When their voices were soft
And their words inviting
There was a time when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time
Then it all went wrong

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving

Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung
No wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dream to shame

He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed

"That song never gets old from her." I say then I eat some food.

"Does she have to sing?" One of the Arsenal men's team forward's questions.
