In shadows deep, I feel so lost,
This world is cold, at such a cost.
I ache for warmth, for love so true,
But all I see is shades of blue.I wish my mom could hold me tight,
With love so fierce, a guiding light.
I wish I cared as others do,
To see the world with colors new. This world's a maze, so hard to see,
With paths that twist endlessly.
The meaning slips beyond my hand,
Like shifting grains of desert sand.A baby's laugh, a baby's cry,
First steps beneath a bright blue sky.
That baby grows, becomes a child,
So innocent, so free, so wild. The child turns teen, the teen to grown,
Each step towards the great unknown.
The hands grow wrinkled, the hair turns gray,
Until stones mark where loved ones lay. This cycle spins, both bright and grim,
Where joy and sorrow start to blend.
How strange it is, this life we hold,
A mix of warmth, a touch of cold.We dream, we hope, we laugh, we sigh,
We live, we love, until we die.
But somewhere deep, the question hides—
What meaning lies on the other side?Yet still, in spite of all that's dark,
There's beauty, light, a fragile spark.
For every tear, a smile is found,
For every silence, there's a sound. The care we give, the love we show,
The seeds of kindness that we sow.
These threads we weave, though thin and frail,
Hold us up when we feel we'll fail.So here I stand, both lost and small,
Amidst life's rise, amidst its fall.
I don't know much, but this I see:
Life's heart is love, in you and me.
