"Sammy, it's gonna be okay..." Y/N holds the girls head in his lap as the rain pours down on them.

The others run around in complete dismay, trying to figure out what they can do.

"Somebody get some bandages!"

Y/N moves her head as Sammy's eyes begin to flutter open.

"You know, some supplies we can get or something?"

"Does anybody know what we can do!?"

All of Sammy's muscles suddenly tighten.

"Maybe we should--"

"Where are you going!?"

Sammy lifts her head up and catches sight of the chaos.

"Hey, Sammy," Y/N speaks to her in a soft tone.

"Don't pay attention to that, look at me, okay? You're gonna be fine."

She makes a pitiful effort to keep her eyes open as she stares at Y/N.

"Stop! Where are we--"

Her eyes begin to flutter shut again.

"Sammy? Sammy!" Y/N gently pats her cheek to keep her conscious.

"Y/N, the quills are poisonous. We gotta take them out of her!" Brooklyn rushes over with rolls of bandages.

Yasmina catches wind of the news and crouches down beside Sammy, "Let me help."

Brooklyn nods and kneels beside them.

Y/N holds Sammy still, noticing the yellowing of her skin.

"Okay, on my count." Brooklyn takes hold of two of the quills and turns to make sure Yaz is ready.

Yaz takes one of Sammy's hands in hers, "This is gonna hurt, I'm sorry."

She moves the other hand to grab one of the quills.

"1..."

"2..."

"3!"

The girls tear the quills from Sammy's skin, causing her to let out a painful cry.

Brooklyn makes quick work of wrapping the bandages around her as she fades out of consciousness.

"Sammy? Sammy!?" Yasmina pleads but she's already out.

"Check her, check-- check the--" Yasmina desperately tries to find her words.

"She's breathing, Yaz. She's alright." Y/N reassures her.

Sammy remains on the ground, a pillow propping up her neck.

The others watch, unsure of how to help as Yasmina clutches onto Sammy's hand and sobs.

"Taking out the quills wasn't enough," Darius turns to the rest of the group, whispering as to not upset the other two girls, "The poison's already in her system."

"She needs an antidote!"

"Oh, yeah, sure, an antidote!" Kenji utilizes his sarcasm at possibly the worst time possible.

"That'll be easy to find, considering no one even knew this thing existed."

"Maybe the medical supply station has something?" Ben suggests.

"Doubt it!" Kenji throws his hands up.

"Kenji's right," Darius huffs, "The Scorpios rex wasn't supposed to ever get out."
