Y/N and Darius linger in the halls while Kash works on his computer since he told them to bug off a couple hours ago. They've been circling the same few corridors for a while now, practically bored out of their minds.

Darius had explained the plan when he got back earlier. The two of them were gonna keep hanging out with Kash so that they could figure out how to stop him from using Mae's research to control the dinos while the rest of their friends try to undo any of the evil stuff Kash is doing to the dinos outside.

So, all the boys can do right now is wait. They pace around for a bit longer until they hear Kash answer a phone call in his office. The two of them sneak over to the door and press their ears up against it.

"Listen, boss, Kashmeister is gonna blow their minds!" Kash chuckles into his phone, "I'm talking full-scale demonstration. They'll bed us to take their money!"

Kash pauses for a moment before speaking again, sounding a bit wary this time, "Six days? That's not a lot of time to get the dinos and biomes prepared."

"Yeah, no, I got this. The future of the company could not be in better hands!"

The phone beeps off and Kash slams his fist against the door, causing it to rattle and startle the boys. Darius starts running down the hall and Y/N is quick to follow. They head for the elevator, just as planned.

"I think we're late." Y/N whispers as Darius smashes the buttons.

"Yeah, I know, I'm trying!" Darius huffs and pushes the buttons harder.

The elevator finally opens, and the boys start heading down to meet their friends outside and share the information they've learned. They sprint through the halls and out the front door where they spot their friends squatting behind the tree line.

The two of them take off running but don't make it far as a giant blast explodes at their feet. They trip over themselves and look up to see the origin of the explosion. It's another robot, nothing like the BRADs.

It's fully black and about seven feet tall. It stands on two legs and is shaped sort of like a lizard or something. The kids look up at it in astonishment as it looms over them. Kash soon exits the building with a smirk.

"I see you found your new babysitter." He grins, "Or rather, it's found you."

"It's part of my new fleet of upgraded models. I call it BRAD-X. After you two disappeared, it seemed like a good time to take this baby for a spin."

Y/N and Darius scramble to their feet and marvel at the huge droid.

"BT-dubs, what are you doing out here?" Kash looks at the boys expectantly.

"Honestly?" Darius sighs, "We've been cooped up all day, and we're bored."

"Sooooo bored." Y/N adds with a dramatic drawl.

"Can't we go for a walk?" He groans.

"Sure, you can." Kash smirks, "And from now on, BRAD-X will be right there with you."

"And in case you get any ideas," He begins slamming into the BRAD-X with the golf club that Y/N just now noticed he was carrying, but the robot doesn't budge.

"Hm?" He tosses the bent-up golf club at the kid's feet.

"This new model's virtually indestructible."

Kash walks back inside, and the boys follow. Y/N turns back and glances at his friends one last time before the doors shut. The kids lag behind Kash for a bit before finally entering his office where two more BRAD-Xs move to guard the door.
