Little by little, night was falling at the Red Crown cult, and for that very reason, the followers stopped working for a bit before going to sleep.

The ex-follower of Leshy took a plate of food and went to eat alone to take a break... Though it wasn't like they had done much; they was mostly just goofing off. As they passed by, the only thing they did was glance at Mati for a few seconds. Mati seemed familiar, but they decided not to think too much about it and continued on their way.
On the other hand, the first follower of the cult carefully took three plates of food to avoid spilling anything and handed them to the wolf and the guinea pig, who were sitting doing nothing, so she could chat with them for a while.

Hey! Hi, guys! —The cow spoke with a smile, to which the others simply responded with a "hi," then she handed them the plates of food.

Ah, thank you very much... Uhm... —Mati paused for a few seconds, trying to remember if he had heard the girl's name before. She chuckled at this.

Mili, and you're welcome. —She said before sitting on the ground.

Ah, that's a nice name. —The wolf smiled and took a small bite of his food while glancing at the guinea pig beside him before asking. —And you are...?

I'm Alexis, how's it going? And who are you? —He responded and asked before taking a bite of food.

Ah, everything's good, Alexis! My name is Mati, apparently. —He replied and also ate a bit more.

Chévere nombre. —Alexis looked at Mati up and down for a few seconds before speaking again. —You look pretty beaten up, what happened? Are you okay? —He spoke with slight concern for the canine.

Ah... —Mati looked at Alexis for a few seconds, wagging his tail slightly. —Y-yes! I'm okay now... It was a... run-in with one of Leshy's patrols, but luckily the Lamb showed up in time. —He smiled sightly. —I'm still a bit sore, but I managed to get something to cover the cuts... What’s likely going to bother me for a few days is my eye. —He chuckled to lighten the mood a bit.

Uhm... If we could get some ice or something cold, that would help a bit. —The cow spoke, trying to think of more things that could help the canine.

Uh... Yeah, though I doubt there's anything like that around here... —He stayed silent for a few seconds, thinking about how strange the kindness was here, though he couldn't deny that it felt nice.

The conversation was interrupted by Lamb’s voice as he approached to greet them, snapping the group out of their thoughts.

Que onda gentuza? How's it going? —The lamb spoke with a smile.

Greetings, Leader Lamb! We’re just chatting while eating, and you? —Mili spoke, smiling at her leader.

Honestly, just goofing around. —The leader let out a short laugh while scratching behind his head. —Esta zafable? —His followers nodded in response. —Great then... Well, I just wanted to check in, I won't bother you more, I'll let you eat. —After finishing speaking, he simply walked away from the group.

... He's cute. —The wolf spoke, lowering his ears slightly as he watched the bearer of the crown walk away.

You’re cute. —The guinea pig responded almost automatically, as if it was something he had been holding back.

Wha- —Mati immediately shifted his gaze to Alexis.

... What- —Alexis himself was left recalculating what he had just said for a few seconds.
