Monday turned into Tuesday and eventually into Wednesday. Elly had completely forgotten about her accidents on Monday as she managed to get through Tuesday without any issues. However, she woke up to a wet bed, just like on Monday.

Today, Elly woke up to the soft hum of her alarm, still groggy from sleep. She blinked at the ceiling, taking a moment to gather her thoughts before rolling over. As soon as she moved, a familiar discomfort made her heart sink. The dampness beneath her was undeniable.

"No," she whispered, her voice barely audible in the quiet room. She had thought she was regaining control. Her confidence had grown even more after she got through Tuesday without any accidents. She had some close calls, but always managed to make it to the toilet just in time.

With a heavy sigh, Elly pushed the covers aside and sat up on the edge of the bed. The wet sheets clung to her skin, a cold reminder of her struggle. She glanced at the clock; she didn't have much time before she had to get ready for work. There was no time to wallow in self-pity.

Elly quickly stripped the bed, bundling the sheets into a pile on the floor, and headed to the bathroom for a shower. As she stood under the warm water, she tried to focus on the tasks ahead instead of the setback. Today was going to be busy, and she couldn't afford to let this shake her confidence.

After dressing in her uniform—a simple black dress with an apron—she double-checked that she had her spare pull-ups in her bag. She hadn't needed them at work for a while, but she knew better than to leave home without them. The thought of having an accident at work was horrifying, but she felt reassured knowing she had a backup plan.

As she was about to leave the apartment complex, Charles, the mailman, called out to her. "Hey, Elly, I have a package for you. It just came in this morning!" At that moment, she remembered the diapers she had ordered. Not wanting to attract attention from the other residents, she said, "Thanks, Charles, I'll come and get it this afternoon when I get back from work."

The drive to the restaurant was uneventful until she was halfway there. A sudden wave of urgency hit her, making her grip the steering wheel tighter. She crossed her legs, her body tense as she tried to hold it in. The familiar anxiety crept up her spine, and she cursed under her breath.

"Not again," she muttered, trying to focus on the road.

The sensation grew stronger, more insistent, and she knew she was cutting it too close. She pressed down on the gas, hoping to make it to work in time. As she pulled into the parking lot, she could feel herself losing the battle. She parked as quickly as she could and dashed out of the car, but it was too late. The warm flood hit her, soaking through the pull-up and dampening her inner thighs.

Elly froze, standing next to her car, trying to process what had just happened. A small wet patch was visible on her dress, and panic set in. She couldn't go into work like this.

Fighting back tears, she hurried back into the car and grabbed the spare pull-up from her bag. She quickly wiped herself down with some tissues, thankful that the parking lot was still mostly empty, and once she was in the restaurant's bathroom, changed into the dry pull-up. The wet patch on her dress was small enough to hide under her apron, but the shame lingered.

She finally made her way inside the restaurant, her steps slower than usual. She avoided eye contact with her coworkers as she tied on her apron and slipped into her role. The busy pace of the morning rush helped distract her, but every now and then, the memory of her accident would resurface, causing her to lose focus.

Throughout the day, Elly found herself needing to use the bathroom more frequently than usual. Each trip felt like a gamble, her body betraying her with false alarms and sudden urges. By the time her shift ended, she was exhausted, both physically and emotionally.

As she walked back to her car, she felt the familiar pressure building again. She sighed, resigned to the fact that she would have to rush home. The day had been one long struggle, and all she wanted was to crawl into bed and forget it ever happened.

But when she finally parked in her driveway and took the elevator to her apartment, she felt a renewed sense of determination. She wasn't going to let this condition define her. She would keep fighting, keep managing, and keep living her life as best as she could.

After she had picked up the diapers from the lobby, Elly quickly changed into comfortable clothes, grateful to be home. She sat down with her laptop, looking up new strategies for managing incontinence. Maybe there were other options she hadn't considered yet, or products that could give her more confidence. Her medication didn't seem to help her that much anymore, so she had to find another solution.

More importantly, Andy would be coming home soon. Elly was still too scared to even consider informing Andy about her incontinence. As she got into bed, her gaze lingered on the diaper pack. Sighing, she pulled one out. Better to be safe and secure than have another accident, she thought before she fell asleep.
