Anthony had been scared of courtrooms since he was a kid and watched an absolutely terrifying movie that involved someone's head getting chopped off in a courtroom itself...

So he jogged his knee as he sat next to his best friend and lawyer, Damon Fredericks. Damon had been his best friend ever since Anthony moved in next to his house. They finished school together and even went to the same university- including Allison.

In fact they were such good friends, Cam had received Damon's last name as his middle name.

'Are you sure you don't want me to use...' Damon trailed off as Anthony knew exactly what he was talking about. 'It would help you so much, maybe even get custody of all-

'Damon, if you ever mention that again, I'll punch your face open like I did in yr4! ' Anthony hissed. 'We're not doing this in spite. We're only doing it cuz we can't decide for ourselves!'

Allison and Anthony had gotten their divorce a few days back but they couldn't decide what would happen to their triplets. So 3 arguments and a night of the silent treatment they decided to go to court. They promised this wasn't out of spite and just because they couldn't decide for themselves.

 The triplets were with Lucia, who insisted that she needed to spend time with her grandchildren. Apparently, Austin had gone out into town for a birthday party and Archie was at Finley's house.

'Your loss.' Damon muttered, going through the legal documentation one more time. 'Really?' He scoffs as he turns to look at Ally's lawyer. 'She works in the law office and  has a bunch of lawyers at her disposal and she chooses Josephine Carter?'

'Didn't you have a crush on Josie in Yr7?' Anthony asks, really confused.

'Yeah and then she told her friends ever so proudly she would never go out with a guy who plays rip-off baseball.' Damon scowled and shook his head quickly as if trying to shake the memory away.

'Everyone knows cricket was invented before!' Anthony exclaims, a little bit too loud, catching many annoyed glares. 'Sorry.'

Yeah, no one messes with Anthony Joseph James and cricket.

Before Damon can speak up, a person called out. "Case 107, Mr. Anthony James vs. Ms. Allison Rivera. Custody Case for Mr. Cameron, Ms Sierra and Sydney James.

The judge walked in and Damon instantly got to his feet, dragging up Anthony with him. The judge sat down and Damon let go of Anthony's arm and sat down. Anthony rubbed his arm throwing Damon a disgruntled look. His arm really hurt.

'Proceed.' The man said, not sparing anyone a glance. Does this man always have a serious expression plastered across his face? 'We will now hear from both council for what their clients requests are.

'Your honour, my client wishes for joint custody of all 3 children, where they will see their father every alternate weekend.' Josie began, sitting back down , throwing a smug look at Damon. Anthony furrows his eyebrows in confusion, him and Ally agreed they'd both atleast get a kid each.

'My client wishes for joint custody of the triplets, alternating week from week.' Damon says confidently, but obviously he's just as confunded as Anthony.

'Plead your case.'

'Your honour, Mr. James and Ms. Rivera have been friends since they were in secondary school-'
Josie was cut off by the judge.

'I do not require a life story.'

Josie cleared her throat before starting again, 'My apologies, Your honour, as I was saying Ms. Rivera is clearly and obviously a much better parent than Mr. James. She has a well-paying job, a house fit for 3 children.'
