Herobrine had arrived at the wizard's skull base via the portal that's now able to possess thanks to the anti-Herobrine shield being turned off by Wizard, a powerful wizard who specialises in magic and potion brewing.

Herobrine said to Wizard, "Indeed, now that we are here, since you are doing..."

Wizard: "I am getting Nezo, Zennor, and your important target, Tonji the zombie, to fight 13 waves of hostile mobs. So if they win, you are not going to go after them for 100 days."

Herobrine grumbled to what Wizard said to him.

Wizard: "But if they lose just one hostile wave, then you take Tonji with you, ok."

Herobrine then smiled maliciously.

Herobrine: "You know what, how about a deal to this."

And so Wizard and Herobrine shock rectangular arms to each other.

Meanwhile...

As we finished preparing for the fight that would test our limits both psychically and durably, we then started to hear a crowd gathering to see what would happen. When we got to the battle arena, we knew that we also have to handle the pressure of the audience as thousands of players, hostile, neutral and passive mobs, and even ancient builders sitting on the sidelines in our biggest battle of our lives.

I asked Zennor, "What's with the huge crowd gathering around us today?"

Zennor: "I have heard that Wizard likes staging fights, concerts, and even executions to those under both KOS and in death row. But I didn't think that was true until now."

The three of us nodded. So we got ready with our gear.

But before it began, Wizard appeared in a glass platform that suddenly appeared out of nowhere to make a speech.

Wizard: "Mobs, ancient builders and players. I hope you got plenty of patience, food, and excitement. Not only do we have incredible 13 waves of hostile mobs coming to our three fighters, but we also have a special guest."

Special guest? As guessing by the facial expressions by both Tonji and Zennor, I didn't know who the special guest was and what he had suddenly announced it.

Wizard continues uninterrupted, "... Most of you should know him, he is loved by some, he is hated by others, but legendary to many of you..."

As a thunderstorm forms inside the arena, my zombified brother went sarcastically (or at least that's what I thought he was doing). "Ooooohh Nooooo!"

And he was right to do that for a reason.

Wizard: "... May I introduce you to him... Herobrine!!!"

The crowd went really wild. Herobrine appeared after lightning struck the glass platform, with some booing him with an equal number cheering him on. That was the most horrifying moment that I realised something. Nowhere was ever safe from Herobrine unless something something might happen.

It's ok, Nezo. Wizard made a bet that if you win, he won't bother you for 100 days.

What was that? I don't know how I even managed to get this message, but I guess whoever sent it must have spied on Wizard and decided to let me know.

As the three of us got out our weapons, the first wave of hostile mobs appeared.

There were 12 zombies, 8 drowned, and 8 husks, all slowly walking towards us.

Zennor used his netherite sword on the first two husks. He swung wildly, and within 4 seconds, the first two husks were dead.

Tonji, meanwhile, used his netherite axe to hit a group of three zombies out cold to kill them for later.

While I loaded up a firework on a normal crossbow and shot the firework at the eight drowned, causing all but one hiding in the back to suffer damage from my firework shot.

Another husk punched Zennor in the face before Zennor stabbed the husk in the leg before cutting the husk in half, killing it.

Tonji grabbed gold of a regular baby zombie and smacked another group of four regular zombies and when he got three regular zombies killed, he tried the fourth in the group, but during the second hit, the baby zombie died, punching the regular zombie without realising.

I was having to run around the only drowned group whilst a trail of tritants appeared behind me.

I took the recovery time to reload my crossbow,  ran for another 8 seconds with those tritants making a small trail behind me, placed a obsidian block with an end crystal and zigzag back whilst avoiding the tritants before I shot my second firework shot.

Zennor was in a clash between a zombie and husk, having to hit one, then hit the other one quick swipe at a time. He pushed another husk in the group of drowned when...

The end crystal explodes and kills all the drowned, two husks, and a zombie. Within the 15 block radius, though, we were pushed back. Zennor used his sword to not only make a mark on the arena floor but also somehow killed another two husks and zombies.

Tonji rode the last zombie like a skateboard and used his axe to slice of the knocked out trio of zombies from earlier, before the sliding zombie died and crashed into another zombie.

I loaded up another firework shot and fired at a group of the last two husks. One immediately diedand the other injured.

Tonji killed the crashed zombie, and another zombie lunged at him with an iron shovel.

Tonji cut off the arm where the iron shovel was, before kicking the zombie head of clean with a back kick before he was pushed by the last zombie.

Tonji ended up on the floor as the zombie creepily smiled and said, "Time... to die!"

Before it could do anything,  a firework shot killed the last of the hostile mobs from the first wave.

My firework shot.

As I got my zombified brother up to his feet, we felt ourselves heal to full health and hunger. As the crowd cheered at our first victory.

Wizard: "Wow! That was a good fight, but now we'll be unleashing the second wave in 20 seconds, so you might want to stick around for that."  He said cheerfully in the glass platform.

I looked around the crowd. Herobrine looked annoyed as with most of the zombies and husks and drowned. But most of the audience was enjoying it.

Fifteen seconds later, the second hostile wave appeared, and it was a mixture of 10 zombies and skeleton archers.

The second wave was harder than the first, but all we did was use our own tactics and battle skills on our own.

The third wave was hard because we to take on spiders and blazes with left us with two hearts each.

The fourth wave when we had to take on zombies, skeleton archers and creepers. That left us with a heart each.

Even in the fifth when we had to take on six endermen all at once. Again, we all survived with half a heart each.

That was a worrying trend for us, because during our breaks, we would increasingly argue how we should be having more health and why one of us didn't help them when they needed to. At this rate, we were becoming more and more distant from what was really important.

And that particular wave that would come to make us learn the hard way...
