Chapter 16

It was now the sixth hostile wave, and so came along 5 different hostile mobs in groups of 5.

We were against zombies, creepers, spiders, skeletons, and endermen.  So me, Tonji and Zennor got straight away to deal with the endermen with no sign of teamwork or tactics.

Zennor got on top of an enderman and repeatedly hitting it with his netherite sword,  causing the enderman to teleport alongside Zennor, accidentally hitting the slow but enduringly tough zombies who turned against the enderman who eventually got hold of Zennor and threw him to a couple of creepers.

Tonji went for the skeleton archers, but he was having to take on 5 spiders at the same time, so he would throw the spiders at the second and third enderman who they easily torn through the five spiders, but suffered minimal damage.

I used a water bucket as a duo of endermen come running angrily at me, and it damaged them, so I got the water source and hit the fourth enderman before quickly placing water again and damaging them even further.

The two creepers that were near Zennor began to fuse up, but Zennor lifted one creeper and threw it where I tried to attack again, but got hit by the enderman from behind and just as the enderman in front was  about to hit me, the creeper explodes, killing both enderman and an unintentional target...

... Me!

Zennor was able to use the rime to block some damage thanks to placing a stone block in front of the creeper whilst Tonji grabbed a creeper and threw it at the skeleton archers, killing all but one critically damaged skeleton, dropping bows, arrows and even a music disc.

Tonji them went for the skeleton, but was blown up somehow by a thrown creeper, which nearly killed him, so he dodged the next arrow and saw the first enderman was about to throw the last creeper at him.

The first enderman threw  the last creeper. It begins to fuse.

Tonji moved towards the creeper, avoiding the arrow barely missing him.

Tonji grabbed the creeper and sent the creeper to the skeleton.

The first enderman panics and teleported to block the creeper from blowing up the last skeleton just as the creeper reached its maximum bulk.

Boom! Went the creeper explosion.

The creeper had killed an enderman and the last skeleton.

Watching from a stand behind impenetrable iron bars, I saw that the second enderman was frozen with shock. The shock that his fellow enderman had tried and failed to block the creeper explosion, and now he was one of only two enderman left in the fight.

The third enderman screeched at the second for his attention.

He was being bitten by Tonji in the head.

The second enderman tried to move to save the third enderman.

Zennor stabbed the third enderman, causing it to collapse before being stabbed again and die.

The last enderman screeched in sadness before it one punched Tonji, and Zennor saw what happened.

Zennor: "NO!"

He got out his netherite sword, and as the enderman ran to take down Zennor, Zennor threw his netherite sword.

As if in slow motion, the sword flipped multiple times, going clockwise and forwards...

... And got the last enderman in the head...

... And it died!

And with that, me and my brother were now back in the arena, and for the next critical 50 seconds to make our next move, this time as a team.

Zennor: "We barely had managed to survive this wave, and this could be the last wave we fight together and lose at last. How do you want to do this?"

Me: "Should we improve?"

Tonji: "That's what we have been doing, but we never did this without working together. Instead, what we did was  do our own thing."

Wizard: "Next battle in 20 seconds!"

I looked at Wizard for a moment before coming up with a plan.

Me: "You know when we were fighting that we ate allowed to place blocks?"

Zennor nodded.

Zennor: "So we build a  quick tower with a couple of defences, then work out a plan for upcoming hostile waves."

And so we got prepared as the seventh hostile wave begins...
