Chapter 23

The barons tomb

We were safe for now from Caesar's army as we got to the regular netherrack and made our way towards the barons tomb.

It was another 90 blocks away, which we were getting to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Zennor: "It's a good thing that we got out, but we have only 99.25 days left, or 1,985 minutes left till Herobrine came back! Not to mention that Tata will be back in 385 minutes!"

Me: "... So we just have to keep going."

And we kept going, climbing difficult summits of netherrack and having to go through soul sand while there was a zombified hoglin nearby.

But soon we got to the red warped forest where a nether fortress would stand above the lava with obsidian bridges made to prevent ghasts from destroying the bridges.

That was the barons tomb. A nether fortress controlled by ancient builders who are wither skeleton hunters, looking for a quick way to get coal, bones, and heads to display their prowess.

Zennor: "Now. These ancient builders are non-negotiable, so it's best we don't run into them, or if we were to get spotted by any of them, then we run away."

A netherite sword came near Zennor's neck from a player with a boar mask.

The boar player: "Unless you want to explain why you are here through your ******* forehead, I suggest you three get inside to help us stop our two biggest side threats!"

Me and Tonji we taken back by how the player spoke threateningly whilst Zennor just nodded calmly like the player was pulling a sick joke and just rested his forehead into the end of the sword.

The boar player looked at Zennor for a moment before putting away his sword, and I read what his username was.

The boar player was indeed Inso the boar!

Zennor spoke calmly, "It's Ok, he won't hurt you, just do as he says, and he may help us too."

So we followed Inso the boar inside to the barons tomb in which the wither skeleton hunters didn't go to kill Tonji at all. We got to the nether warts room where it also had a red warped wooden table and minecarts as chairs.

This was where we see the head wither skeleton hunter doing the paperwork on how many wither skeleton they killed, how many of each items being sold, and how much money they earned from selling it.

Whilst most wither skeleton hunters had a netherite chest plate and a golden helmet, the head hunter was dressed with additional diamond trousers and boots.

He didn't have a username, but he was finishing off the paperwork when he saw us four waiting for him.
Head hunter: "I'm nearly done around this, so wait where you are standing, and I'll get you to sit with me after I filed this paperwork!"

And so he finished his paperwork several seconds later and filed it by storing it in the ender chest before sitting back down, signalling us to sit, so we did.

The head hunter: "The name's Hannibal, and I was told that the zombie slayer would come to save not only her brother but an enormous part of this server."

I was not expecting how he managed to know about the legend. Only Wizard could know about it.

Me: "How did you know about it?"

Hannibal: "Because an undisclosed source came off just a few minutes ago who was handling on giving me the paperwork came back from one of Wizard's fighting events."

We were surprised by what he had to say, except for Inso the boar, who didn't seem to show any emotion.

Hannibal signed, "Since you are looking to cure your brother and restore a massive part of the server, I'm also going to need your help."

Zennor asked, "What kind of work?"

Hannibal: "There is this player named Jude who would terrorise the ancient builders and players to kill every single hostile mob until the world is free of monsters. He aims to kill Herobrine and take over the server. Acting as an all-powerful dictator."

The three of us shuttered in fear of what would happen to us.

Hannibal: "Which is why we need to take down Jude and his army of scouts to save the server whilst finding a cure for tour brother. If you can do that, then we'll be able to bring peace to an enormous area of this server."

Meanwhile...

A wither skeleton hunter was heading back to the nether portal. He had used another ender chest to put a piece of handwritten paper to alert the manager.

The wither skeleton hunter was then able to get to the overworld where he was inside a colourful castle. So he left the castle to get to the dark castle in front of the colourful castle.

He then got to the throne room where he bowed down to his master...










His master who is Jude!

Jude asked, "What brings you here to this castle, wither hunter!"
Jude's scouts who wear all lether armour that has a black dyed chest plate got out enchanted iron swords, ready to strike the hunter.

The traitorous hunter stuttered, "You remember working for the wither hunt guild, do you?"

This hit a memory that he used to work for them until he handed his notice to start his own legion.

Jude signalled the scouts to put away their iron swords. The scouts did as they told.

Jude: "Villager number 451!"

Villager 451 came rushing with an iron trapdoor.

Villager 451: "Yes master?"

Jude spoke in an intimidating tone, "Go get me my wither hunt guild chest!"

Villager 451 panics before stuttering, "Y-y-yes master!" Before running off to get the piece of paper.

Jude got up from the throne chair and walked down the steps leading to his chair.

Jude: "Follow me!"

The traitorous hunter followed Jude into the supply room, where Jude opened a few chests and collected several items before he tossed them to the traitorous hunter.

Jude asked, "What's your name?"

The traitorous hunter: "Gree. Gree Ven."

Jude got out a contract and put it on a nearby table.

Jude: "Well, mister Ven. Since you are brave enough to reveal where the zombie slayer and the zombie is, if you were to sign a contract for you to go after any threat to our legion, will you step up to become an elite member of this legion?"

Gree Ven: "Well, to me, the pay with the guild is scarce compared to killing other players with no preparation for an ambush and high value kit to be sold."

Jude laughed for a moment.

Jude: "Well then, you are going to take over this guild for me, and we will then cut off supplies from the zombie slayer and her allies."

Gree Ven: "And kill the second entity of the twelve entities? Because he's nearby."

Jude, though, for a moment before, he was interrupted by Villager 451 with an ender chest on top of an iron trapdoor.

Villager 451: "Master Jude. I have the box as requested!"

Jude left his train of thought to check the contents. There was a warning note, of course, but also another note.

Jude checked the other note.

The second entity is leading his army to retake the barons tomb again.
I suggest we order an immediate evaluation.

Jude smiled before putting the note back into the ender chest.

Jude: "Elaya! Are you busy finishing off the titan?"

Elaya came to him a few seconds later. "Well, It will take a day to get the thing combat ready. Why?

Jude: "Well, get out your mace! We are going to war against the second entity. Villager 451, get Gremain to the barons tomb and Gree Ven, suit up, we got a fight in our hands."

And so Jude got 12 available scouts in the area he was in to join his elite team to kill his first entity that could be the first signs of Herobrine's downfall...

Planning for the Reactionvision story is taking longer and more complicating than I originally thought, so it will happen sometime next year with the first several chapters being published at the same time before publishing one or two chapters a week.

As with Pixel Cat, I was able to plan out how many chapters it will have. (Spoiler alert! Check out the leaks and news in a comment I'll put along in this paragraph here)
I also finished the first two chapters of Pixel Cat and planned to publish the whole story early next year, so stay tuned for when it will come.
