Creaking nightmare

One of the scouts volunteers to get in the portal to check for any traps.
The brave scout then went into the portal, and...
... Was greeted by lava!
The scout died a few seconds later with this:
Scout 22 tried to swim in lava.
Gremain huffed as he got out 5 fire resistant potions and split them between him and his four scouts.
Back at the pale gardens...
The postal was covered in the cobblestone mould, which would look suspicious to those looking past.
The cobblestone mould suddenly demonised by Gremain and four other scouts as they were greeted by the grey atmosphere of this mysterious biome.
Gremain and the scouts were a little bit scared about the new biome.
This was new territory for them, and for good reason to be scared about it.
It was sunset, so they set up torches so they could not only stop hostile mobs from spawning but also to see much easily in the ever growing darkness.
As the scout group continues to look for the Zombie slayer group, there are creaking sounds happening every few seconds.
The scout group stopped. Was it the zombie slayer group or hostile mobs?
The scout at the back of the group asked, "What was that?"
Gremain spoke nervously, "I don't know..."
So the scout group continued to walk gingerly whilst the scout at the back tip toes nervously.
Three yellow eyes, stacked like towers, appeared from a distance behind the scout.
The three yellow eyes move towards the scout.
The scout turned around.
The three yellow eyes stopped moving.
The scout turned back.
The three yellow eyes continued to move.
Scout continued to walk slowly...
... As the three yellow eyes got closer...
... And closer...
... Then the scout looked again.
... He saw the three yellow eyes...
He panicked and attempted to take down this creature...
... To no effect as an orange trail appears for a moment...
... Before it disappears...
... And another nine yellow eyes appeared very close behind him...
Meanwhile...
The zombie slayer and Co were walking around the forest carefully when they heard an ear curling scream.
Zennor was startled by the scream.
Zennor(afraid): "What was that!?"
My eyes widened with fear.
Me: "That would be the hostile mobs killing whomever is after us..."
We then heard some more creaking.
We look back...
... There were three eyes watching us.
Inso the boar(worried): "I don't remember seeing a mob with yellow eyes!"
My zombified brother looked in fear.
Tonji(scared): "RUN!!"
We all ran away from the mysterious creature, which had those three yellow eyes...
... The eyes that scared us...
