Chaper 7/part 2 The final fight

At Starcourt mall

Elevens group run downstairs to happily greet Dustin's group.
,,oh my god guys! That was amazing!"
Laughed Dustin and hugged El and Max.
,,Lucas?"
,,ERICA? What are you doing here???"
,,it's their fault!"
,,yea I'm sorry about that..."
Said Steve, who was standing next to a girl, both dressed in the scoops ahoy uniforms.
The girl asked surprised.
,,uhm i don't understand what happened to that car.."
,,that was El, my friend, she has superpowers, she threw it with her mind."
Answered Dustin and pointed at Eleven.
,,I'm sorry, who are you?"
Asked Nancy now the girl.
,,oh I'm Robin, i work with Steve."
,,she was the one who cracked the Russian secret code."
Said Dustin and now Jonathan started questioning.
,,what Russians?"
,,those are Russians."
Answered Steve and pointed at the laying body's on the ground.
,,what are you talking about?!"
Interrupted Lucas now and got questioned by Dustin.
,,didn't you here our code red?"
,,yea but we couldn't understand what you said!"
Said Mike frustrated.
,,goddamn low battery!"
Cursed Dustin.
,,i told you to look out for the battery."
,,yea but everything went well."
,,went well?! We almost died!"
,,But we didn't!"
The arguing got interrupted by a step into glass behind the group.
The party turned around, scared more Russian man came to kill them.
But to their surprise, it was Hopper, Joyce and Murray!

After everyone was introduced and all, the group started to explain to each other what piece of the hole cake they knew.
Mike started talking first and stood next to Will, who was sitting on the corner of the turned off fontaine.
,,the Mindflayer, it build this monster here out of some people in Hawkins. To stop El, basically kill her and take over our world I guess."
,,and it almost did, we barely survived."
,,how big is it?"
Asked Hopper.
,,it's big, 30 feet at least.."
,,yeaaa.... It kind of destroyed your cabin... we're sorry.."
Said Lucas from the side.
Now Steve spoke up.
,,okay just to get this clear, this creepy big fleshy monster who attacked El is some kind of weapon? But instead of metal or something, it's made out of ...melted people?"
,,yes, exactly."
Responded Nancy and Joyce turned to the group.
,,are we sure that that 'thing' is still out there and alive?"
,,yes, El beat the shit out of it, but it's still alive.."
Now after a long time Will opened his mouth again and spoke in a small voice.
He started to get used to the pain and played it off well.
,,... if we close the gate again, we cut the brain off from the body... and kill it."

(Here Murray got some of the building plan papers and arguing with Erica, I'm not talking about it in details.)

,,they are gonna die."
Said Erica confident as she walked back to the 3 boys, together with Dustin.
,,you guys survived?"
,,barely, we could have really used your help down there."
,,we could have really used you too up here."
Said Mike and gave his friend a smile.
,,yea man, we missed you."
,,yea, big time."
,,i missed you guys too."
And the 4 boys went into a long side hug, they smiled at each other, when Erica interrupted them.
,,please don't cry nerds."
But before they could argue, Hopper threw the walky to Dustin.
,,hey, so, you can navigate but from some a save place."
,,it's not that simple, the signal won't reach. Not with this at least. You need something with a high enough frequency band, to relay with the Russians radio tower."
,,so what now?"
,,your lucky I'm the one with a handcrafted radio tower, already set at the highest point in Hawkins."
Said Dustin as he smiled.
Hopper sighed and gave Steve his car keys, so they could drive to reach Dustin's tower.
Robin and Erica went with them and they certainly enjoyed the car.

Joyce went over to Jonathan and talked to him.
She was worried about him and Will and told him to look over his younger brother, telling him it's gonna be fine and she will come back.
In that time, El had also a talk with Hopper, telling him about her condition, but that they will make it.
They had a Father daughter heart-to-heart talk and at the end she hugged him.
Will was leaning against a pillar.
He was so awfully quiet that Mike couldn't help but worry.
Was it really just the hole situation? Or was his friend hiding something.
After staring concerned at the brunette for a long while, he turned to the others and told them.
,,i think we should go now..."
The adults decided that the kids should go to a place that was more safe and that's what they would do, but Hopper stopped them for a moment longer.
He saw the way Mike looked at Will, he didn't know exactly why, but he felt like he didn't need to worry about his daughter anymore...
,,Mike....(Mike turns around).. be careful."
The black haired boy was first surprised, but nodded and followed the group outside.
Will was indeed hiding something, his stomach had started to hurt more again and he was trying his best not to let it show, but.... Did Mike notice something was off?
