The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm, golden hue over the bustling market. A gentle breeze carried the sweet scent of freshly cut flowers, mingling with the distant sounds of the city coming to life. Elara and Orion strolled hand in hand through the lively market, each step bringing them closer to the vibrant flower stand that stood out like a jewel among the stalls.

Rows of sunflowers, their brilliant yellow petals catching the light, stood tall and proud, surrounded by an array of other blooms—roses, daisies, and lilies—all arranged in a tapestry of color. The flowers seemed to reach out, beckoning passersby to pause and admire their beauty. Elara's heart lifted at the sight, and she couldn't help but smile down at Orion, who was tugging at her hand, his tiny face glowing with excitement.

"Mummy, look!" Orion exclaimed, his eyes wide as saucers as he pointed to the tallest sunflowers in the bunch. "Those are just like the ones Harry showed me in his garden!"

Elara chuckled softly, her heart warming at the thought of Harry's gentle care for his garden. She could almost picture him, crouching down to show Orion the sunflowers, his face lighting up as he spoke about how they were his favorite. The memory made her chest tighten with affection.

"I thought we could get these for Harry," Elara said, her voice soft and full of warmth. "He loves sunflowers, and I'm sure he'll love them."

Orion's smile grew even wider as he nodded enthusiastically. "Sunflowers for Harry!" he echoed, bouncing on his toes with excitement.

As they approached the stand, the florist, an elderly woman with silver hair tied in a loose bun, looked up from her work with a welcoming smile. Her hands, weathered yet nimble, moved gracefully as she arranged a bouquet of lilies. "Good morning," she greeted them, her voice warm and inviting. "Looking for something special today?"

Elara returned the smile, feeling a sense of calm wash over her in the presence of the kindly woman. "Good morning. Yes, I'd like to buy a bunch of those sunflowers, please," she said, gesturing towards the vibrant flowers.

The florist nodded, her eyes twinkling with understanding. "Ah, sunflowers—such a cheerful choice," she remarked as she began to carefully select the brightest and fullest blooms. "Are these for a special occasion?"

Elara glanced down at Orion, who was watching the florist's every move with rapt attention. She smiled before looking back at the florist. "Not a special occasion, just a little something to brighten someone's day," she explained. "We're visiting a friend at his job, and I thought these would be perfect."

The florist wrapped the sunflowers in crisp brown paper, tying them off with a delicate ribbon. She handed the bouquet to Elara, her eyes soft with understanding. "Sunflowers always bring a bit of sunshine to any room. I'm sure your friend will love them."
